Austria Bouldering Video: Zillertal

Last June we took a brief trip to Austria. Here's a little video of a couple boulder problems from that trip.

Fog

Back in Sweden again. Austria will have to be visited again as weather kept climbing to a minimum. Like I stated in the previous post we did get out in spurts but only for a few hours here and there. When the weather was good we would usually get just about warmed up when things would change. The following pictures are an example.

A few minutes later photos were nearly impossible but we still managed to climb in the thickening fog. The fog continued to thicken until moisture stopped climbing as well.

Austria

Our week long trip to Austria looked grim when we checked the forecast. Gloom and dome for the foreseeable future had us almost accepting a week of chilling indoors with occasional excursions outside to look at wet boulders. Fortunately, to our surprise and delight, the weather provided nice pockets where it didn't rain and the quick drying rock magically remained dry in light drizzles.
