Casen’s first soccer game

Tuesday night was Casen's first soccer game of the season. He is playing with the Fighting Wombats again.

We got all setup with this awesome umbrella that we got for Christmas.  It worked great where Chloe was out of the wind and could stretch and play. And it is tall enough for Kyle and I to sit up in it.  I definitely couldn't manage this thing if I was by myself but it worked great.

Cooper telling Chloe all about dragons before the game started

Me and my not so interested girl

Casen played really good compared to how he practices. He isn't a soccer star but he has fun and tries so that is all that matters. He got to play against is classmate Jackson and former teammate (and neighbor that we never see) Branson.

And we loved that Babi came to watch

Weekend recap

Casen had a good week at school and earned some PS4 time

Chloe was ready for bed early but I snuggled with her some before putting her in her crib

The next morning she played for a while

Then Babi came over to watch Chloe and Casen so Kyle and I could take Cooper to his first communion retreat.

I can't wait for his big day in April.

That afternoon we made bird feeders with pinecones we collected at Nana and Papa's cabin last spring.

It might be a little early in the season for the birds but Casen was so anxious to do this project.

That afternoon the boys played with a neighbor and then Aunt Jen Jen and Uncle David came over.

Casen took this lovely picture of Kyle at dinner.

Sunday morning playtime

Then time to get dressed for church

After church we picked up groceries and then enjoyed the gorgeous weather. Chloe wearing her adorable babiators from Mimi and Grandpa

And then Chloe chilling in the Walmart cart for a few errands...actually she wasn't that chill so we only did 3 errands out of 5 before heading home.

That was our weekend

Chloe's 3 Month Pics

A month ago we had Chloe's 3 month pictures done by Tiffani Siebert. I got a great deal on a package for newborn, 3, 6, 9, and 12 months!

Chloe wasn't her usual smiley self. These fell during her newly established nap time but Tiffani still got some gorgeous pictures.

Chloe is 3 Months

Our sweet Chloe is 3 months old. She wasn't her usual smiley self in these pictures, but I still caught some pretty ones of our girl. I think she looks like me in this picture.

Stats-

9lbs 12oz (2%) -for reference brothers were 13lbs at this point

Finished newborn clothes around 10 weeks old

Size 1 diapers

Blue eyes and brown hair

Personality-

Sweet smiley girl. Still no laughs but lots of smiles so big her eyes squint

She has a temper. She doesn’t just cry but screams and turns red when she gets ticked.

Total mommy’s girl

Eating-

Chloe nurses great. We have had no issues like clogged ducts, mastitis or thrush thank goodness. She only gets a random bottle here and there so I don’t have a good idea of how much she is eating and we also don’t have a consistent schedule.

Bath-
Chloe loves bath time and for now we still only do it every 3rd night. The doctor said to continue this until she starts solids where she will likely need a bath every night or every other night depending on the mess.

Her current nicknames are 'Chloe girl' (given by Casen), Baby Chloe, Baby Whoa-wee (that's how Tracen says her name), Baby sister, Clo Clo. Sistersita, C-Lo

Sleep-

Most nights Chloe wakes up once to nurse. I leave her in her swaddle, bring her to my bed and nurse her and then take her back to her bed. I don’t unswaddle or change her diaper. She has occasionally slept all night. The middle of the night feeding time varies between 12and 3.

Milestones

Consistently rolls from tummy to back during tummy time

Has good neck control. She may look little but she acts her age.

Loves to suck on her fist

Learned to hold her paci in with her fist

Intentionally bats at toys

On the 3rd she slept 8-2 and 3-6:30

On the 4th she slept in her crib for the first time 8:30-4

On the 11th 8-4

On the 14th finished newborn diapers

On the 15th I put away her newborn sleepers. The only thing remaining is a few newborn outfits and pants.

On the 16th slept 8-2:30 and 3-7

On the 22nd Kyle kept all 3 kids while I went to a girls night

On the 24th slept 7-2

On the 25th slept 7:30-3:30 and intentionally bats at toys

On the 27th we went to the doctor for an infected fingernail and she got an antibiotic. This was about 5 days after we trimmed her fingernails for the first time.

This month Aunt Lusa and her kids babysat Chloe for 6 hours and that was the longest I had been away from her.

I just LOVE those cheeks. I could eat them up.

And she was done.

To see her brothers at this age.

And you know I have to include some outtakes (mid-sneeze, bow malfunction, and I scared her!)
