The Clines: Casen is 3 months old

Casen is 3 months old and this was a big month for him!

You didn't have a 3 month appointment for official stats but at 2 1/2 months these are the stats I did at home just because I was curious.

Weight: 13lbs 4oz

Height: 24 inches

Still is size 1 diapers as we finish them off but ready for size 2.

You wear 3 month, 3-6 month, or some 6 month clothes. 6 month pants.

No shoes yet.

Exclusively breastfed. You nurse at 5 am (because I wake you up) then 3 or 4 4oz bottles while at day-care. Then you nurse again around 5-5:30 when I get home and again at 7:45 before bed. This schedule is very similar to Cooper's.

You go to sleep at 8 and I wake you up at 5 to nurse and then you go back to sleep. You would like to go to sleep earlier than 8 but I want more time with you in the evenings. I normally hold you for a catnap around 6:45 or 7 just for some cuddle time.

You continue to spit up but I think it is getting better at least for your at home feedings.

You are such a sweet, smiley baby. I love the way you smile when I talk to you and listen to me. You really watch me and look for me when other people are holding you, but you don't mind them holding you.

You still play with your tongue a lot as you can see in these pictures.

You slept in your crib for the first time this month and did awesome. You have been sleeping there since.

I lay you in your crib each night, swaddle you, and give you your pacifier. You fall asleep on your own which is great!

You love bath time. You are so content and sweet during this time. And this past month you took your first 'bath' with Cooper per his request. You just watched him and smiled for the minute or two that I held you in there.

You HATE poopie diapers, but who wouldn't? If you randomly start to cry I know to check for a dirty diaper.

Your brother still thinks you are pretty great. He continues to play with you, help give you a pacifier, tell me when you spit up or if you are crying. You love to watch him play and I know it is just a matter of time before you get a hold of his toys and make him mad!

You still have the hemangioma. It seems more raised this month but I don't think it has gotten bigger in size.

You still haven't rolled over yet. Not even once! Mommy is anxious for you to meet this milestone because Cooper did by this age, but I remind myself that every baby is different and you will do it in your own time.

You look so much like your daddy in this picture below.

You started day-care this month at 12 weeks old and are doing great. They all say how sweet you are. They said you aren't the aggressive eater that Cooper was. You are more laid back and slow to drink your bottles. Your teachers are Mrs. Joyce, Ms. Christina, and Ms. Cindy

We are still treating you for thrush because I thought it was gone but it came back.

Casen, you are such a little sweetheart and a wonderful blessing to our family. I am sad that you are already 3 months old, but I also love watching you grow and change. I know your brother will love being able to play with you more as you get bigger.
