OK, here goes, to those inspirational artist-bloggers who I find set me thinking most wonderfully!

The amazing Jana Bouc, artist and watercolor teacher from San Francisco:

The irrespressible, high-energy, do-so-much Amy Cowen, founder of the Creative Mom Podcast and an amazing blogger, too:

The very creative writer, photographer and artist, Karen Harvey Cox:

Her children's writings: http://karenharveycox.wordpress.com/
And last but not least, the very talented artist Valerie Millett who also gets great kudos for being an exemplary single mom!:

So there are my five inspirational ladies who certainly get you thinking, now let me see what I have to do about getting ahold of them, since they might not even know that I have a blog, or that they have won this great award!
I've only been hanging around Blogland for a couple of months, and certainly don't promote myself, so how would they know??!
Dear ladies, for the rules (very simple!!) see my previous post. Congratulations!!

Hey Kathleen, congrats on being one of Mariana's "Thinking Bloggers" too :D I actually received one of these awhile back from Susan Tuttle and she sent a group email to her picks stating what it was about and how to respond to it etc. etc. I never did get around to doing mine (oops) but I'm really gonna try with this one. Great picks btw and yes I had thought of picking Creativemom Amy :)
Hi Laura, Congratulations to you, too!!
Thanks for letting me know how Susan handled it, I'll go ahead and try that. Hopefully I can find evreybody's email address somewhere so I can send them out together instead of individually through Flickrmail . . .
Hi Kathleen - I know your blog is here... but I admit... I forget. I crawl around Flickr and keep up with the constant stream of amazing work there. But, I'm gonna have to start popping over here more often to get the "full" story (I know I tend to post the "full" story only on my blog, too). So, thank you for naming me one of your 5 "Thinking Bloggers." I'm really quite flattered. So, thank you so much. What a nice treat!
Hi Amy! So glad you feel flattered! Really, you are one of the most amazing people I know! I just don't have your level of energy, to be mom to two young rambunctious boys, do all your artwork, your sewing and knitting projects, doing the podcast (and I know that muct take hours!), as well as being a homemaker--how you do it all I just don't know!!
But really, you don't need to come check my blog much, I really don't put a lot of deep thought into it, although sometimes I will post more about things than I would on Flickr. You just don't have time to go checking out everybody's blog, checking peoplpe out on Flickr is bad enough! (haven't we had this conversation before??)
Anyway, take your time, feel no pressure, and just enjoy the process!
Hope you have a great rest of the weekend!
Hi Kathleen,
You are such a pleasure! Congratulations on your "Thinking Bloggers" award, you certainly deserve it. I really appreciate you including my blog in this. I am going to sit down and work on this today. What a lovely idea, and opportunity to recognize talented artists. Isn't bloggerland wonderful? Blessings, Karen
Thank you so much, Karen! You are just so sweet!
