To Infinity...and Beyond!

This year's theme for Halloween was Toy Story!!!

My original plan was foiled because KK apparently wants a say in what she is dressing up as.  Weird, right?  ;)  I was going to be Jessie, Tyson was going to be Woody and KK was going to be the horse, Bullseye.  I had the costumes (well...the fabric to make them) and everything!  Well once KK got news of me being Jessie she threw an ultimate fit and insisted on being Jessie instead.  I was not in the mood to be Bullseye, so we threw together a last minute wardrobe change and made our costumes the night before Halloween.  KK's was easy to make.   A little velcro and felt goes a long way.  I pieced together Woody for myself (we pretty much had everything on hand, but I added a little flair with some felt).  Ty had a great idea of jazzing up the store bought Buzz Lightyear wings by drawing on a copy paper box.  I was definitely impressed!

We went to a few of our neighbors houses to say hi, and then I went back to the house to hand out candy while Ty took KK around the rest of the neighborhood.

KK didn't end up eating any candy that night (long story...but I was standing firm on a lesson that I was teaching her) but she has been gobbling it up ever since.  I'm very anxious for it to be out of the house!  I swear it makes her cranky!
