4 months have passed since my homecoming and I am pleased to announce my first 'local' stockist - The Sayle Gallery.

The opening of Ebb Tide was magical. 

My cheeks ached from smiling, laughing and chatting.

Stephanie Outridge Field shared some delightful words with us.

Our guests travelled from near and far, despite the foul weather. 

We were proud to share our work with you. You picked favourites, you even gave some new homes.

It was my first and last-for-a-while Australian exhibition; it was bittersweet, but I couldn't have asked for more.

Sadly my time in Australia is drawing to a close. I am ineligible for any further visas and I must return home to the Isle of Man in 4 weeks time. My heart aches to leave, but I'm excited to explore new opportunities overseas.

I have lived here for 5 and a half years, first in Melbourne, then the Gold Coast. I came here with a head full of dreams of becoming an artist, but with little direction as to how to get there. I will leave having fulfilled those dreams and I will carry these skills with me to continue and grow my arts practice, wherever that may be.

Maybe you heard; we had a visit from ex-tropical cyclone Oswald last weekend. I happily ignored him and carried on painting.
