Trunk or Treat

Since I was a slacker last week (hey I had my first pack meeting!!) I incurred a penalty for lack of blog post. SO, here is the penalty post...sorry it's a bit of a cheat since I COULD have combined it with the pumpkin patch as all are Halloween related, but NAH, here are some cute pics of the kids at our wards trunk or treat. Brayden doesn't have much of a costume...he really didn't care about dressing up this year...at the last minute he put on a button up shirt and Jeremy's hat and called himself a cowboy, only because I told him he couldn't trunk or treat without a costume :) Happy Halloween everyone!

This was a last minute costume. Good thing I am a pack rat and keep things forever. This was MY karate uniform when I was 7...

The 3 Amigos doing the donut eating contest. Brayden's best friend Jack, and Jack's little bro Liam. Jack won, but not by much...

This was probably one of the greatest things of Ian's life so far. He LOVED eating the donut...

Maybe Jack won cause he cheated?!?!? No hands allowed!

Face of pure donut joy

My cute little Minnie.

He had to get a little face paint. After this he said he was a zombie cowboy...

Brayden is lucky to have such good friends...
Audri's awesome face painting. A gal in our ward sure has a lot of talent! Audri LOVED this...

Pumpkin Patch-Take 2

Sometimes, I really can't fathom that I have a 9 year old...
This is actually our pumpkin patch pics take two, since the first time we went, my phone went crazy and I lost all of the pics! Luckily my kids are used to having a crazy mom, so they were obliging when I told them we had to go back and take more pictures. Since this was a staged second attempt, I didn't get a whole bunch, but enough to see how much the kids have grown.  I love this time of year because there are so many fun things to do as a family.
This is my ham. She loves the camera

They totally posed themselves this way...

I'm so glad he sat on a pumpkin! I didn't think he was going to...he seemed to be afraid of them...

I love this bunch of kids!

He is getting so big. Too fast.

silly kids

Audri, Brayden, and Brayden's best friend Jack

Makenna fell down, so she was a bit mad...but the other kids were happy!

The end...of Soccer Season!

It is hard to believe that soccer season is over! And, you know how I can tell I am a mom of four in her...um...wait a second...4th year of soccer (I had to stop and count)? I didn't take a single picture of Brayden or Audri actually playing. Luckily, through soccer we have made some great friends, and one of them took a couple pictures of my kids. They are just quick snap shots, but I love them because I can truly see my kids personalities coming through. We have been lucky that the weather was mostly good this season. I am not sure how many wins either team actually had (Audri's team struggled...they were just way too NICE!) Brayden's team was super fun to watch. They played hard and Brayden even scored twice this season (once when we were out of town...and his coach was so excited  he called me to tell me that night. It was funny) The season can get to be a lot with practices and games, but it is fun. I do really enjoy it. And I also enjoy when it is over ;)

The 4th of July

WHAT? What's that you say? It's OCTOBER? Not around here. We're reminiscing the 4th of July 2011. We spent the day at Grandpa and Grandma's in Happy Valley. They recently added a new addition to their house hold-one the kids were super excited about: The Trampoline. We had fun jumping, riding bikes, slip n' sliding, and BBQ-ing. Then when it got dark enough we had our own little fireworks show, and then walked across the street to watch the big ones over Happy Valley Park. We were a little disappointed that due to the construction of the new high school in Sandy we couldn't do our usual chuch parking lot party...but this ended up being a pretty good day. We had lots of fun together and had fun outside in the perfect weather. The only thing that could have made it better was to have more family around!

Makenna gets some air.
Audri's turn!

And don't forget Brayden

Ian didn't want to feel left out either
I'm guessing there was a little bit of static electricity on that trampoline!

good time to get wet

what you don't see is the air guitar she was doing on the way down...

Makenna takes the more dainty approach...

Given his history with showers, we are happy he decided to give it a try

Being launched by dad...
...Is a lot more fun

Audri and Ian...

Don't mind his skinny-ness

She is positive she was a rockstar in her former life

My Boys

Drying out

Oh, yeah...and we pulled out her tooth recently too!

One of the few times I got on to jump...women who've had 4 kids (or even 1 for that matter) don't take trampolines lightly...

Do NOT hit the 'back' button. You are at the right blog.

Yep. A post. Thanks to this girl:

She is a true friend. She helps me choose the right-eh- choose to blog.

I luff her. And I miss her. Thanks to her I am gonna get this blog in tip top shape!

Obviously,I have lots of stuff to blog about, you know, like 10 months worth of stuff
-firstly, and NOT most excitingly or importantly, but just time consumingly today so it's been on the brain--I got a new calling. ...

wait for it....

CUBMASTER.

uh. yea. I know squat about cubs. I'm a tiny bit overwhelmed...which is why this post is sort of weird. I've been processing all my new responsibilities today.

Wish me luck! I think I will go and put together a cub roster. Then sort pictures for a future post! (not cub related)

And THANK YOU CARRIE. My posterity thanks you too.
