Exciting news!!

Hi again!
I have exciting news!  I have 8...count them...8 cards/projects published in the Summer issue of Through The Craftroom Door Magazine!   I wish I could show you the projects but I can't publish them to the blog only the magazine.  But if you're interested in subscribing to the magazine you can do that HERE.  It is well worth the price because you get free digital stamps in every issue, great tutorials, interviews with artists and companies as well as a lot of beautiful inspiration by some very talented artists!  If you are interested in submitting your work for publication you should check out this page Submission Guidelines.  Here's a quick view of some of the pages in the magazine (I have the graduation card and the easel calendar card on the cover)

Memorial Day 2013

Happy Memorial Day to everyone in the US!  Today we went to the RI Veteran's Cemetery, they always have all of the flags out this weekend.  Last year we took Niko and he just ran up and down the rows and this year was no different.  I don't know what it is about that place but he loves to run there.  We also brought my Godson Denzel.  He was so interested in World War II  and looking at the different wars that people had been in.

...and raise you some sass!  I just love this wordart from  Create with TLC   and it was a freebie!  When I saw it I immediately thought of my daughter, Shianne.  Sarcasm is that girls middle name!  Don't know where she gets it from!  LOL!  Anyway, when I saw this image at Sassy Cheryl's Stamps I just knew they were meant to be together  :)

Anything Goes at 613 Avenue Create

Hope everyone is having some nice Spring weather!  Finally we are having some sunshine and warm weather here in the Northeast of the US!  So this week at 613 Avenue Create we have our usual Anything Goes challenge but you have the option to create some gift packaging (gift card holders, bags, boxes,etc).  I hope you can join us we have two sponsors Bugaboo and Eureka.  Here is a gift box I came up with using a cropped Eureka image.

I used my Make the Cut software and Cricut along with the SVG from My Scrap Chick to create the box.  I used box #7 without the center divider.
