ATC Time - Artbars and Susi Blu Stamp

Hi there lovely friends - is everyone enjoying crafting with 'slightly' colder fingers -tee hee x

Yep it's definitely colder here in Yorkshire but I kept my fingers warmer yesterday colouring in this Susi Blu stamp.

It's for the Julie Cassidy monthly ATC swap - and this months theme is 'PETS'

I used a number of colouring mediums:-

  • The fabulous waxy Derwent Artbars
  • The vibrant Derwent Inktense pencils/bars
  • Tim Holtz Distress Markers
  • Dylusions 'bubblegum pink' inky spray
  • Ranger 'snow cap' acrylic paint dabber

The Artbars are amazing to blend with, so smooth and waxy - and you can use them wet and dry.

Here's the cuddly pet - all cute in lilacs x

I could colour in faces all day long - cos each face never looks the same as the last one - very like us - we're all different. Variety is the spice of life.

I delight in the details, so added a little 'Together' banner - chopped up letters from Tim Holtz 'Chitchat' idea-ology stickers booklet. Inked the edges in a neon ink and added the frilly bits x

I love eyes and lips - if you leave glints of white in them you are naturally draw into the face x

The cheese cloth bow and mini mini bloom were dyed with the dylusion inks to perfectly colour co-ordinate with the ATC.

So its off to pop this little pink number into an envelope - the bubble wrap kind Julie says is the best - more chance it gets to the other end in one piece (fingers crossed) - Poundland/Pound shop sell these fab envelopes for a snip x

See you all later on in the week with another post, bye for now x

Thank you for all your lovely comments - I really do love and enjoy reading them all x
