Koy Boy is 7 months

My little Koy Boy is 7 months and he is SO MUCH FUN!!  I love this cute boy.  He is so happy is such a good little boy.  He will just lay on the ground with a binkie, blanket and toys and will be content for a good hour.  I love that I can just look at him and he will give me the biggest smile :).  He is still rolling over like crazy and sitting up but not for long periods of time.  Here are a few pictures of him.  Enjoy those big blue eyes!

Tasyn Turns 3

My little girl is now 3!!!!  She is so much fun!  I can't believe it.  Tasyn is full of energy and personality.  She is constantly talking and saying whatever is on her mind.  She likes to talk to herself and pretend lots (much more than the boys did).  She loves to be with Mom and Dad but she also loves to play with her brothers. She is constantly going too, very busy and being loud. She adores our cat Jumper and Koy. She is a good big sister and is very helpful with him.   She is turning into a pretty little girl and is acting so much more grown up.  Hopefully in January she will be going to school with Keyne :).

Her favorite color is purple, so we had a all purple party while we were in Utah.  We had fun with the cousins.

Here are all the kids, 10 of them under 9.  It was a crazy week for busy kids.
The one game we played was pin the ribbon on the balloon.
Then we opened presents.  She got some things for her kitchen and a cash register.
Then we had a fun purple cake.

Halloween 2013

How can I not post about Halloween??  It's one of my favorite holidays!  Of course we had a family theme this year, we were the Gardner Avengers!!

We had a fun night and the kids had fun dressing up!  We went to the little town and went trick or treating and then came home and enjoyed the candy.  This is the first Halloween in my life that I haven't eaten candy (I've given it up to lose the baby weight).

So here are the pictures:

Thor

Iron Man
Captain America
Hawkeye.  It took some convincing to get him to be Hawkeye, we bought this awesome bow and arrow and told him that he had to be Hawkeye to get it.  He wanted to be Iron Man like Tyce (which he was for school).
Hulk (the cutest Hulk ever!)
And here's the group.  Black Widow and Agent Coulson too

Family Pictures 2013

I have been wanting to do family pictures for awhile now.  I have been waiting until I got my braces off and to lose the baby weight.  I got the braces off but the weight is still on.... but I decided to do it anyway, before it got too cold and miserable.

Last Saturday we were at the store and I found some cute polos for the boys and so I thought it would be a good time to get clothes for everyone for family pictures.  I wasn't planning on doing it this soon but I found clothes and the wind and weather was nice, so we picked a day and went with it. The funny thing was that I hadn't even showered that day.... We just threw everything together last minute but I think that they still turned out nice.

So here are our family pictures for 2013:

I decided to do it by a windmill because here in the Sandhills, it's windmill country

Koy Boy is 6 Months!

Wow! What has happened to this blog? I haven't updated it for soooo long. It's sad because I reference this for my journal.... which is also struggling. Anyway, little Koy is getting so big and I need to do a little update on him because he is so cute!!! The last update on him was in June, when he was 2 months. So here are the last 4 months.

Koy at 3 months.

He is so close to giggling and getting more alert and interacting.  He loves his siblings :).

4 months:
Even though he looks bigger, he's still a little boy!  He's only 11 pounds 6 1/2 ounces (less than 5th percentile) and 24 inches (20th percentile).  He is now interested in toys now.  He'll lay down and play under this toy for awhile.

He loves to talk and kick his feet.  He's now rolling over, from his stomach to his back.

5 months:
Koy is getting so much more interactive and so much fun.  He's growing so fast!  He rolls all over the place, from front to back and back to front.

He just loves to people and to talk with them.  He especially loves his siblings.  Tyce is his favorite right now because Tyce just adores him.
He has discovered his feet and hands.  He loves to play with them!

6 months today:
He's starting to look like a little boy and less of a baby every day.  He is changing every week.  Doing more and more.  He is starting to sit up on his own. He's not quite there but close.

He loves his tummy and is on it constantly.  I can put him on the floor with some toys and he'll be content there for 30 minutes just playing.

This little boy is full of personality.  He loves his voice!  He loves to giggle, scream and be loud.  Here are a few videos that show his personality.  His fake crying, giggling and screaming.

The Month of June

Wow it's been a crazy month of June!  It's just flying by. I'm going to work my way back from now to the beginning of June.

We have spent most of our June at either baseball practice or baseball games.  The 3 boys have been in it and it has been great.  They just had their last game last night and they all did great.  Both Tyce and Kanyon got a hit (with it being pitched to them) and Keyne is getting better at hitting the ball off the tee. Games were either an hour or an hour and half away, so it took lots of time.

Here a few pictures of the game last night.

Kanyon got a great hit, made it to first base and got a RBI!

Tyce and Keyne are in t-ball, Terry pitched to Tyce and he hit it.  He was so excited!

Keyne is seriously so cute to watch play!  He's so little!

Last week we had Terry's birthday.  It was very low key.  I bought he a couple of shirts for work and then gave him a $100 amazon gift card.  When I give him money he doesn't buy anything for himself, so this time I gave him something that he had to spend and couldn't just stay in the bank.  So we found him a great pair of cowboy boots to wear when he has to go out and do things on the ranch.

We did have a family over for dinner and cupcakes.  We were all so exhausted from a busy week that we weren't too lively.

This past week we went to my first branding.  Kanyon, Tyce and Terry have been to more.  The kids had a lot of fun.  They loved riding on the horse.  I'm so glad that they get to do fun things like that.  Terry went to another branding and actually worked.  He got to brand, ride and rope the calves, wrestle and give the shots.
This cute little guy is now 2 months old and smiling all the time!  He's so fun!  The kids love that he will actually look at them and try to talk back.  He still has all of his hair (yay!!) and is getting out of the newborn stage and sleeping a little better.  He gives me a stretch from around 9pm to 2 or 3am, so that's nice.

We are doing a lot of traveling this summer.  We headed down to Garden City to see all of our friends there.  We still really miss it there.

backyard games (5)
Terry went down to Oklahoma for a 4 very long days.  It was hard being on my own for the 4 days, they kids were awful and I was exhausted.  And to top it off, at the end of the week, Keyne slammed the car down onto my hand.  Not sure if it broke my finger, but it got super swollen and two weeks later I still can't bend it all the way.

On our first bike ride of the season, Tyce fell and the bike ran over his arm.  We took him to instacare and they put a temporary sling on it.  They didn't think it was broken but didn't know because of the swelling.

And that pretty much sums up our month.  It's been crazy that's for sure.  This weekend we are off to go to the family reunion on my side of the family in Missouri.  I am super excited!  Several people haven't even met Tasyn and of course no one has met Koy.

One Month

This cute little guy is one month old today!  I can't believe that he's already a month old.  He is really starting to put on the weight and getting bigger.  He is now 7 pounds 7 ounces and 21 inches.  He is starting to be more awake and alert.  Too bad he likes to be awake in the middle of the night still.  He really likes to be held and wrapped, so he doesn't get much ground time (plus I'm afraid that he will get stepped on).

He is getting closer and closer to smiling.  I can tell that he wants to, just hasn't figured it out yet.  I love that he still has so much hair.  By this time, all the other kids' hair starts to fall out.  So I am hoping that it doesn't fall out.

I had to take all 5 kids to the doctors appointment.  It took 5 hours.  Luckily the kids did well.  Kanyon was super helpful and the rest of them did good because I bribed them with candy and donuts :).  We are adjusting to having the 5 kids.  Days are long and hard but they are getting better.  Everyone is in that "trying" stage.  By the end of the day both Terry and I are exhausted.

Koy's blessing

The same weekend has we had Kanyon's baptism, we had Koy's blessing.  I figured since we had both sets of grandparents here it was a good time to do both.  It was a hectic day, church always seems to be hectic.  Koy wasn't super happy and I didn't want to let me take good pictures of him.  I told him that he'd better get used to taking pictures with me being his mom :).

I wanted to make all the kids matching clothes.  So here he is sporting his new tie.

And here is he in the blessing outfit.

Here is a picture of everyone after the blessing.

And here are my 5 kids!!

Of course we had to get a couple pictures of him with his parents :)

Terry did a good job on his blessing.  He talked about how he will be a peace mediator in our family.  And that he will be loved and happy in our family.  I'm glad that he is a part of our family.  He is such a sweet addition to it!
