Last Day of Kindergarten!

Today is the last day of school, I can't believe it! We made it through our first year of school. Kanyon loved it so much and I know that he's going to miss his friends and the structure of school. Yesterday they had an award assembly. Each one, Kanyon has gotten the "high honor roll" award, for getting all A's. I'm very proud of him!

Last week they had this kindergarten program. It was so fun and cute. The kids did a great job! Hopefully blogger will let me upload a video soon...

Nice Shiner

Yesterday was one of those crazy days. Well Keyne loves to make days crazy. This one was actually pretty scary. Keyne's a climber, always has been. Well while we were in the boys' room he decided that he wanted to climb up on their dresser. The whole thing just fell, right on top of him. I immediately grabbed him and tended to his needs. He was screaming and I saw that he had hurt his little finger. It was already bruised and bleeding, so I tried to get it to stop bleeding. I put a bandaid on it (he hates them!) and then started to check him out to see if there was anything else. To my surprise, his eye was bleeding! I finally him to just calm down and held him for about 45 minutes and then he fell asleep from all the pain. I was really nervous that his finger was broken, it was swollen and you could tell it really hurt because he didn't complain about his eye at all. After about 1 1/2 hours, he finally started acting normal again. He seems to be fine now, he uses his hand, he's just really careful about it. Poor guy! I just felt so bad for him. Here are a few pictures of his injuries.

His eye today, it's much more swollen today than it was yesterday.

My little girl

My little Tasyn is 6 months old!! I cannot believe it! She is starting to be more and more mobile, which I am not ready for!!! Just in the past week, she has been all over the floor. She rolls in every direction and gets stuck under and between things. She can scoot backwards while she is on her tummy and just the other day, she was trying to get her knees under her. She's not allowed to start crawling!! She is now sitting up by herself for 10-15 seconds. Then she usually falls over, when she realizes what she is doing.

She loves solid food! I usually am really good about waiting until they are 6 months to start food and then introduce new foods slowly, not with her. For more than month, she has wanted to eat. She lunges her body whenever there is food around, so we started her early. She will eat a whole jar (of the big jars) in one sitting. And she's not very messy (yay!).

Here are a couple pictures of her at 6 months

She loves her feet!!!

Tyce's Preschool Graduation

This week was the last week of school for Tyce. I can't believe that he has already gone through a year of preschool. He has learned a ton there and had a good time. Tyce is really shy and sending him to preschool really helped with that. He is getting more confidence. He was so cute at his graduation! I'm proud of him!

Upgraded

A couple of weeks ago we finally moved Tasyn to her own room and into a crib. She is doing really well in there. It's nice to have her in her own room, she seems to go to bed earlier now. She still isn't sleeping through the night. She wakes up once or twice, but I'm used to it so it's not that big of deal to me.
Here's Tasyn in her crib, she looks so little in it!
Now that Tasyn is in the crib, that means that Keyne is in a toddler bed. I wish that I could say that he's doing really good in it and that he goes to sleep right away. But I can't. I usually have to lay in bed with him for about 10 minutes to get him to go to sleep and then in the middle of the night he sometimes wakes up and comes up to our room. Because he is now in a bed, he doesn't take a nap anymore. This is really hard for me. I need that time because he doesn't do much of a quiet time. No break from Keyne definitely makes my day much longer and more stressful. Somedays he'll take a nap on the couch watching a movie, but not very often.

I can't control this kid. He is everywhere. If he wants a binkie and can't find his, he'll climb into Tasyn's crib (while she is sleeping) and take hers. He likes to get into her carseat, while she is in it. He likes to try to jump over her but really just steps on her. He always dumping water or juice on the ground. He likes to turn on the dishwasher with no dishes in it. I could go on, but I'm going to stop there.

Here's Keyne in his big boy bed
In other news, I finally got a new calling in our ward. I am the ward information and bulletin board specialist. Sounds pretty important, huh? Well it's nothing special. I'm in charge of doing a bulletin board outside the chapel and then I do a blog with announcements and changes in the ward. The funny thing is, in the past 5 callings that I have had 4 of them I have had to decorate a bulletin board. This is the second calling that I have gotten that the main part of the calling is the bulletin board. I can't complain though, it's pretty easy to do :)

Sunday Best

For Easter I decided to make something for everything. I made all of the boys ties, Tasyn a dress and a skirt for myself. Since we weren't here for Easter, we wore it on Sunday. I even found these awesome suits for the boys when we were in CO. Here are a few pictures of everyone!

We had to use the timer for our family pictures and my camera doesn't like to focus very well.... so they are a little blurry, I was bummed!

Our weekend

This weekend Terry's parents came down for a visit!! We always love it when people come and visit us!! We had a great time with them. Friday we hit the local stores and then the zoo.

The boys love this tree at the zoo

Then on Saturday, we headed over to Dodge and went to Boot Hill. Terry and I haven't gone to it before and I was so surprised by how fun it was! There was a lot of things there to look at and all of the boys really enjoyed themselves. In the summer they even have shows, so we will definitely be going back!

Here are a few pictures that Grandma took of the boys
