and gonna type about the events that happened this week..

last sat and sun was spent at sentosa. sat was spent with HCCO while i crashed the junior class's gathering on sun. feels good to be on the beach again. but sadly i didnt receive enough tan :( photos are below..

vesak day on monday! spent it with my HQ mates, watching harold and kumar eating their cockmeat sandwich at PS. what a show. i enjoyed it, brainless as it was. cant wait for other new movies to come out.. indiana jones (yes it's out but i heard from critics that it's not as good as i thought), kungfu panda, and i havent even wated ironman yet! argh..

took halfday on thurs and attended RSM's change of appt ceremony back in my used-to-be-2nd-home at sungei gedong. man, the place is the same but people have changed.. everyone's gone and i dont recognise the remaining faces, except for the regulars who asked me to drink with them after the ceremony. a few of us attended and it was a good gathering for us and some of the regulars. special mention to keegan.. who have been niaoed over 20 times for his pale skin and his chubby cheeks and stomach! lol.. and i went home feeling abit giddy, probably due to non-stop drinking from 6 to 9+pm.

and i finally went swimming on friday. feels good to exercise after a tough week at work! just a simple 20-lap swim but it's pretty satisfying. the bad thing is that i swam at night and thus could only manage to absorb some moonlight. cant wait for my contract to end at 30 june so that i have one month to have fun and exercise before school starts.

my sat was at NUS science open house. i am glad i went for it; it was a last minute decision. most of the talks were pretty rewarding and it gave me an affirmation of what course i would be majoring for the next 4 yrs of my uni life. i hope i do not make a wrong choice then. made a tour around the labs and the faculty buildings, and signed up for camps. sounds pretty interesting, cant wait for uni life to come!

2 days in a row at sentosa.. now my body is aching all over! but nevertheless the company was great and i enjoyed myself!

this must have been the most packed day ever. spending the whole day clearing unused documents from our storeroom while attending to walk-ins and attending to BOIs by problematic drivers.

TGIF. cant wait for saturday to come.. wait! it's saturday! embrace the long weekend while i can.

met twice this week!

the first time we met was on wed after work. we went to eat at new york new york at amk hub. and being the adventurous ones, nic and me decided to brave ourselves

and ordered the meat platter for two!

alrights perhaps some of you may argue that this is a matter of perspective. but let me tell you, it isnt! the plate is really big and the food is really filling! nic and me kept encouraging ourselves to finish all the food. and when we finished eating.. we were totally bloated!

look, my hand only covers a small portion of the plate. that just shows how large the plate is! it's super sinful. shall avoid it for at least one month and must exercise more!

the 2nd time the 4 of us met was yesterday, to watch nic's church play, the tunnel. it was a good play in my opinion, and it was a job well done considering the amount of time that they had to prepare (around 2 months). it was more like a musical than a play, with lots of songs. i was captivated for the whole 1 hr 45 mins, especially during the part when nic's gig started jamming. HA! nic does what he does best.. drumming :D anyway the tunnel talks about 7 different roles that we meet in the society and the problems they face and how they managed to overcome the problems in the end (aka walking through the tunnel till you see the light at the end). it's close to the heart and although there is a tint of christianity issues in this play (after all it's a church play) i feel that it's well accepted by non-christians as well. and nic acted really well!

alrights. may update tmr (or later in the day). knocking off.. it's around 130am in the morning and im tired. ciaoz!

once upon a time there was a dustbin, which was located at a certain spot in the office for quite a while (since i stepped into the office). no one made any noise about this dustbin. no one tripped over it. no one said it was unsightly. it was just there.. and it did its job diligently by feeding off the waste produced by the owner..

one day, a certain senior manager stepped into the office. and he kicked the dustbin. then he started making noise about this dustbin, saying about how bad its location was, blah blah and subsequently making a big fuss out of it.

seriously. the fact that this senior manager hit the dustbin simply shows that he doesnt know where he's going. everyone can see the dustbin and avoid it, why can't him? and it's just a dustbin. why make such a fuss?

nonsensical. ridiculous.

i have lost my respect for him. luckily im just a temp.

it's over! feels like i have just ORD again.. haha. 1 whole week of work including sat and sunday.

finally life can go back to normal, or so it seems.

i am so burnt out, didnt sleep well last night. seems like some of my colleagues feel the same thing too. need to recharge again.. this is just 50%, there's still the week ahead! RARRRR looking forward to friday!

distributing flyers can really be quite an experience.. i really had the chance to see the many faces of singaporeans; from the enthusiastic ones who came over to grab a piece of the flyer from me, to those who treated me like a monster - avoiding me as i approached them.

but i was pretty disgusted at one of the passengers on his way to the mrt station. i was standing at the escalator, he approached me for a piece of the flyer which i happily gave to him (so as to clear my stock). he took that piece of paper, looked at me and said "oooh what is this?" and guess what? in front of my face he took it and crushed the paper into a paperball and threw the paperball at my face. AT MY FACE. and then he shouted "LOSER" at me.

today is labour day. while the rest are resting, i became fresh labour.. was involved in this recruitment drive for smrt. quite fun i should say, considering it was my 1st exposure in a recruitment drive. the number of people who went for the mass interviews and all. luckily evreything went well. and i can clock x2.0 for my salary as i was working on a PH. woot!

just hope that everything will be as smooth as today for the next 3 days.. my weekend is gone.. RARRRRR
