so we went on a cruise...17 of us total!

we were the ONLY ones on the dance floor this night... but we didn't care...

Giddy Up

My mom bought a 3-4 foot tall pony for $18 at a resale children's consignment event.... a pony you ask? Yes, a pony....   

Other things my crazy mom bought at the consignment sale?

• maternity clothes (for me!?)
• a crib
• a baby swing
• baby clothes
• a Moses basket
• a snuggle nest 

Um, did I mention I AM NOT PREGNANT!!?!  oh lordy.... looks like someone has lost their marbles....

So for now, I guess the only one that is able to enjoy that 3-4 foot tall pony is Gracie... bahaha

It's a COLD mess

Today was supposed to be my first day back to school after "Winter Break"

BUT INSTEAD.....

It's a SNOW DAY!!
I woke up this morning, looked outside and saw this:

At least 3-5 inches of snow!! 

Incase you don't know that is a BIG deal in NC.  EVERYTHING in the city is closed! Nearby cities have everything closed and they don't even have snow YET...haha! I love living in the South!

I spied on my new neighbor shoveling his sidewalk... doesn't he want to do ours too??

Gracie tried to find the last bit of grass to "do her business on" -- she is a homebody and does not enjoy the snow at all

But I made her stay out long enough to snap a picture of the pretty winter wonderland....

Happy Snow Day -- if you are out in the mess, please be careful!! 

Gracie thinks she is human.

She loves to play dress up...

She loves traveling...

But more than anything... she loves FOOD.   As they say, the proof is in the pudding er, mashed potatoes.

I think she was a little bit nervous because she growled at him and she never growls at anyone.

As you know (from this post), Gracie had a recent haircut in which they shaved off all of her hair....


Poor baby was feeling naked so she decided to go out and get a wig.  A girl's gotta do what girl's gotta do, right? 

I said a TRIM! What Happened?

I will be the first to admit that Gracie NEEDED a haircut

She was starting to look quite a bit scraggly

BUT... 
when I took her to Petco for a "TRIM", I did NOT expect to pick her up looking like this:

What the heck did they do to my little girl? 
She is NAKED! 

Poor Gracie.... (hahaha).

Study Break Time!

Gracie and I are trying to stay busy by studying a lot....

but we are so ready for Justin to come home this weekend to see us!

(he has been out of town all week)

(insert gag noise here -- haha!)

Silly Gracie

Little Gracie had to get her teeth cleaned last week. The anesthesia really did a number on her! She was so pitiful when I picked her up... Her hair was EVERYWHERE, her tongue was hanging out, and she couldn't even stand up!

So of course I had to take a video and share it with all of you!

Confessions

Confession: I had no idea that I did a post yesterday. I had scheduled it a long time ago and literally forgot about it. When I started getting "comment alerts" on my blackberry I was so confused that I had to sign online to see what you guys were even talking about. For a moment I thought someone had taken over my blog!

However... a lot of people were wanting an answer to my post question yesterday... so here is the answer:

it was a bottle. Katie was 100% in saying it was a BEER bottle. I tipped the mostly empty bottle (of Landshark Beer) up towards the TV and took a picture. I think it looked pretty neat!

Confession #2: I am sorry I haven't been updating ya'll with our shredding progress. I had my in-laws pop in for a surprise visit for 5 days and have had NO TIME to blog. We had a few days hiatus on the shredding but are back on track now. I have lost 4.2lbs!! Awesome!

30 Day Shred Update:

Day 13 for me/Day 2 for Justin: Another day on Level 1. I believe I will be pushing Justin towards Level 2 sooner than later. Level 1 is almost too easy for me... is that hard to believe? Dieting this past weekend on the lake was an epic fail... at least we did our exercises...right?

Studying and a Riddle

Lots of studying today so Gracie and I are staying in our PJs

and getting a lot of work done!!

Oh and as a way to have fun this week -- I have a riddle for you!!

Last night was so much fun. We had a little wine...

Put up the blow-up movie screen and watched a REALLY BAD movie

Because as Gracie showed us, sometimes you just gotta stop and smell the daisies er...roses
