sian. im getting quite sick of school already. dunno whether i said this before or not, but i like training time better =/ ok whatever opinions u have abt this whether u think "om*g training sux ur brain kena burnt isit" or whatever, keep it to yourself... yea let me at least have something to look forward to in my school life or something can? tyvm.

zz yes...so as you can see my leadership points (not qualitative record) arent exactly looking good.... with like 2/3 points at most.
zz ok. some people might say just chiong for anything that has points. who cares whether you like it or not, got points=good=must chiong and get.
ok. i disagree with the above statement to a large extenet XD (history. i rmb! =.=)

1. i really dont like doing something screwy (ok maybe not screwy) that i will not enjoy doing, unless its bloody compulsory. so...ccal is probably quite a tough and boring job with lots of work and stuff to be done. nope, dont like it.

2. i like going for something nice (abit the same as the above point but nvm). nco is nice yes....definitely thats why i nvr changed my mind even until now. exco...quite okay la, would like to play a larger part in npcc development anyway.
morrison exco/vice cap...dont see anything wrong with putting in effort for the house too. ppl are really not working hard enough. can see the apparent lack of passion =/

3. cca points isnt really much. ok while i suppose during a job interview, the difference of 1 less cca point than your rivalling interviewee would greatly matter, i believe that what you benefit from your leadership posts are far greater. they will be some skills that will stay with you for life, and surely they are much more beneficial, and much more memorable than some tough chore-like job which merely gives you an edge in getting a job. however, for some reason the society has made a point to include this stupid points system, quantity over quality of some sorts. which uh, sucks.

and now im afraid i could have problems getting even an A2 for cca! while some have advised me to join other merit ccas to chalk up more points, i think i hardly have the interest nor the time to do so. exco+nco for npcc is going to take up most of my time anyway since its my main uh, "passion" if you would call it, thus i foresee an extreme difficulty in sec4 to kope with work and that much cca commitments. much less to say add on another merit cca >.<

hai. abit demoralising, saying all these stuff when i know its not exactly making me feel any better. but...just wanted to say it all out =/
not sure if anyone else is as "cham" as me but i think i will be able to pull through this with some effort and some determination =)

w00ts! went for LMSC for the past three days!
and.....
it rocked! =DDDDDDDD

lets go in choronological order ba

day 1
zz got owned from the start. got some um, attire problems....then got posted to this squad called charlie =/
lol. at first thought abit screwy, like ATC anyhow anyhow group. in the end only 2 familiar faces (excluding same sch of course): jiajun and leonard. hai.
then admin din go too well as well. we were uh, dam lag/lethargic/slack/whatever.
oh ya, also got assigned squad ics. omg, joseph! lolx u must be wondering why this response? cos, um, during last year's ATC, he was abit........nvm. if u know good. dunno? sad =)

then there was some drills cycle thing. we got normal drills first....wa got quite a no. of drills dunno sia. zz nubby cca =X then some drills timing also incorrect (diff from standardised timing from HQ)......hai. lucky i already making some kind of "drill changelog" so that i'll remember all the changes, etc. when i leave the course. hehe =)
then was baton drills. hai nvr touched baton drills EVER B4. so uh, got abit owned? screwed up quite abit zzz.

er...then was....lunch! lolx, the food abit de suck? zzz suppose it was average la. but the jelly arh...some bloody artificial crap la.

oops, forgot to mention, there was alot of lectures lolx. on alot of stuff like leadership, uniform ettiquette, motivation, communication, teambuilding, etc. but i will only talk abt nice lectures haha.
hmm since i touched on uniform ettiquette....seems like boots must polish whole boot?! wth siao. gg alr how to do that. and if boots bend when walking or what, the polish wont crack meh. zz and belt also polish? wth. i'll need to ask ppl to confirm this though.

zzz there was some (lame) team building games. got this one run thru a path full of ppl's hands, then they nid to move their hands only just in time to avoid u. hai abit diao. din like the games very much. i mean, not very interesting are they?
after this nothing much le.

day 2!
morning got owned again. saw new instructor, eugene (fat? =X). got dam owned by him. "early in the morning, u make me scold u like f****!" omg. he was seriously uber pissed. =(

main thing after admin was drills cycle 2 lol. rifle drills (quite ok), rifle was a mach 4, model + dummy/not dummy diff. we use some nub dummy rifle =/ theirs was uh, considerably heavier.
oh ya. got this HO, dam funny. he speak abit like something i remember from the Italian joke. know that one? lol ya. he speaks alot like that o.O
"it is possible!" - when commenting that we could still do a drill with fast timing which was supposed to be done with slow timing.
yea. if u can remember the Italian accent, you'll know that its quite funny. lolx.

lunch. food was abit screwy as usual =/

then there was uh....a nice lecture on comm/motivation by HO desmond. lolx, dam entertaining + funny. the best lecture i had in tt course =) then got a joker guy called mick, say alot of crap lolx. gave some lame response to "why must take taxi" in a argument with another: "i pregnant." ROFLMAO

got parade rehearsal also. erm quite dry ba. but at least got try out nice drills =/

hai. then cos left like 7min for the day's debrief + SIT discussion, decided to hold it today instead. cos today course officially start at 9 ma. so we came at 7.30 to ram the thing. lol, finished everything in the morning. then got nice flow chart on yes/no actions also. imbaz.

oh ya. we also tio-ed another reflection >.< what the...

day 3!

got alot of nice performances/skits

the guy called melvin from delta....saying some lame thing abt "mr azman once said..." with that "heavenly" look in his eyes. =.=

lolx. then my grp dam funny. jegatheesh (think spell wrong =X) was some defiant cadet who spat on another nco. then andrew was playing big time bully...lol make him go behind the table "pump". ROFL

er...then got parade?
erm, wont say very jing cai (cos it obv wasnt), but was kinda cool.
wa siao then it ended like 7.20/7.30? zzz supposed to end at 7 know. hai.
then in the end must put back all the chairs, change into mufti etc. in the end when we left, 8,20+ le omg.

but the course was excellent. if i said that i hadnt learnt anything from it, it would be a dam outright lie.
well, as a summary: some takeaways from this course:
-increased confidence
-MOI
-campcraft knowledge
-team unity

etc etc. the list goes on.....
and one thing. we won best squad! YEA.

zz as you can see, the ratio of done:undone is uh, 1:2. =X ggxx. i left half a holiday, during which i have some freaking retarded LMSC, some inter-area leadership mentoring skills course. even though it sounds like some nice course in which u sit in a uber big room with imba aircon, its NOT. omg, its almost like a non-residential camp for us la, wt*. bring shitty stuff like npcc full uniform, campcraft stuff, etc.....well, one consolation, if u could call it, it would be that i'd probably be better equipped for the (probably) upcoming campcraft test in T3. and that, well, it would be nice. =/

hai freak. i feel kinda ashamed. i dun have cca during hols at all la, not like other ccas, mostly musical grps where they train at least once a week...and they have alot of other activites also, overseas stuff, bla bla. and im so slack already. but still so slow at finishing my hw. =(
