Winter Wedding

Hi Everyone, winter is fast approaching now in Scotland and a lot of people like to have a Winter Wedding in hope of some snow. So I thought for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs it would be nice to share some inspiration for a Wedding card to give in the Winter with soft wintry shades.

Here is a photograph of my first few layers. I tore my paper and inked at the edges with Spun Sugar and cut my doilies in half, placing them behind the cardstock.

I now added my leaf flourish and also cut and pieced another leaf flourish on to my card.

My words were layered for a shadow effect and I added an extra layer on to my banner by fussy cutting and tattering the edges.

My flowers were made using the Sweet Christine die. I added a little gem in to the centres and also made some small buds using the same die to add some more interest on to my bouquet.

Thanks for stopping by today.

With Kisses

Hi Everyone,  Cheery Lynn Designs do the most wonderful Butterfly dies in many different styles and sizes with Angel wings for perfect layering. So for my DT card this week I thought it would be nice to show you all how they can hold centre stage on a card for a wow factor.

I started by matting and layering my stacker dies to give a detailed border with contrasting colours and adding some Copper Stickles around the edge of my centre mat.

My Doily was cut out in Cream Cardstock and shaded with Distress ink, matting onto my Pierced stackers along with my Lords and Commons Super Doily. My Butterfly was heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder and layered onto my Angel Wing Die, finishing off with a few pearls and a Sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Kisses Card

Hi Everyone, today for my DT card at Cheery Lynn Designs I have made a card using the beautiful Hummingbird die. Let me show you my layers on this card as I build it up.

In this photo you will see I have paper pieced in pale pink corners.

The corners were made using the Horizon Rectangle die that is in the centre of this photo.

My doily was cut in half and pieced behind my Sentiment Tag. This gave me an oval shape to it.

My Hummingbird was shaded with Distress ink and layered up twice for added dimension.

Finishing off my card with some Cheery Lynn flowers and the word Kisses.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a lovely Weekend.
