Good morning to all!!! I have been enjoying working on whittling down my 2.5-inch-wide strip bin. I selected some strips, kitted up these blocks, and here is where I am. I did have a humility block in the middle of the quilt, where a black piece was turned around, but I correct that. Now I see another one! It is staying! It seems that the black nine patches make the brighter colors that much more vivid.
I tried to put the bright blocks in the center, and the duller, darker colors toward the outside of the quilt. Now I am faced with the border dilemma, as usual! I am not sure what to do for a border!
This is my mini of the month for September. It is displayed under a small collection of Halloween goodies. Great fun!
I bought a couple of mums from Home Depot and will decorate my front porch with these things. I love fall time!
How are you doing, each of you??

What lovely finishes--both large and small, Julie;)))
Borders are my "head-scratching" time, too. I always end up pulling out so many fabrics to try that my stash gets even messier than usual!! ;000
I am working slowly on the coin strips and my hand quilting--one bit at a time..
hugs, Julierose
very pretty quilts...
Very nice. I often find mistakes in the photos that I missed while the project was on the design wall. I nearly always fix them because otherwise, it's all I'll see once the project is finished. I may as well give the quilt away. LOL
Great job on the blocks and top. I need to work on my 2.5 inch bins, too.
Your scrappy goodness looks very bright and cheerful and your mini looks happy with the Halloween decorations.
I love how you put together quilts with scraps. 2 1/2” are my favorite to cut but I need to get going on using them. Kathy
That's a very cool scrappy quilt! I can't find the mistake block.
You make the best scrap creations!
Fall is my favorite time of year, but I have not begun to decorate for it. The mums are a great touch!
That top quilt is wonderful ! So inspiring, but I seem to LOOK at other people's quilts more than I actually work on my own ! I see SO MANY that I want one just like ! Yours fits that bill ! Happy Fall !
I like the pattern you chose for your 2.5 inch strips. It's a very pretty quilt! I might add another strip around the outside to finish up the black nine patches, but after that, I can't think of what to use for a border. I might not add another border, or I might look at the scraps and see if a border jumps out of them into my arms.
Lovely quilt top finish, if it does not need a border. Love your fall decorations.
I might try a narrow white stop border and then a wider border in a multi-color rainbowy fabric. It's delightful.
Pat
I love your quilt! Sure cannot see any "mistake" in there either.
I'm Paula from Colorado, I have been blogging for a while now, and today I felt like I should share my story because I was a victim too. I had endometriosis and herpes virus for 18 years and I never thought I would ever get a cure due to the terrible symptoms I had and this made it impossible for me to get pregnant even after 12 years of marriage, and it was a serious issue. Furthermore, I got to know about Dr. Itua on a Blog Site who treated someone and the person shared a story of how she got a cure and gave her contact details, I contacted Dr. Itua, and he actually confirmed it and I decided to give it a try too and use his herbal medicine. That was how my burden ended completely. My son will be 2 this December, and I am grateful to God and thankful to his medicine too.Dr Itua Can As Well Cure The Following Disease… Cancer, HIV, Herpes, Hepatitis B, Liver Inflammatory, Diabetes, Fibroid, Get Your Ex Back, If you have (A just reach his on (drituaherbalcenter@gmail.com or order herbs from his herbs store https://drituaherbalcenter.com/shop/)He can also advise you on how to handle some marital issues.
