Tina's Birthday Card

I waited to post so I didn't ruin your B-day Tina!  LOL!!!  Actually, I've just been too busy......  This card idea is from Linda Heller's Stamping School that I subscribe to.

It's called Can Opener Card: Birthday.  The little brad allows you to swing the senitment open and see the message inside!  Very clever, don't you think?  The card base is Island Indigo and the next layer is Pool Party.  The designer paper is Quartrefancy Specialty DSP.  The stamp sets I used were You're Amazing and Bring On the Cake.  I added some rhinestones to mine.  Also used the DSP to line the inside of the envelope.  Tina got it in time for her Birthday and "liked it"!  Yeah!!!!  Hope you do too.

Birthday Card for my Sis'

Here's the card I created for my Sis' who lives in LaHabra.  Don't get to see her very often but she's always in my heart and on my mind.  She's the 2nd to the youngest of the six of us.  Hope your Birthday is awesome Dee and your card got there in time!

This idea came from StampinTexasChristi'sU-tubeChannel .  She has so many great ideas, love her site Stamp In Texas with Christi Beck.  The stamp set is You're Amazing.  I used Melon Mambo CS for the base.  Whisper White ran through the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  The little flowers were punched with one of the Itty Bitty Stamp Set stamps.  The banners were cut using Quatrefancy DSP.  I used the new Candy Dots on top of the little flowers.  (I didn't mount them on the brads like Christi did because I was going to mail it and wanted to avoid too much width.) I also used the new Envelope Liner Framelits' Die to make a lining for the envelope (love those Framelits)!

Happy Birthday Sis'~

Grandson's B-Day Card

Here's the card I made for Bob's Grandson.  I used one of the cards we did at Convention last year as my model, the one we made at Convention was a 4x4, this one is regular card size 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.

I used More Mustard CS for the card base.  The Happy Birthday is from the You're Amazing Stamp Set and stamped in Midnight Muse on Vanilla CS.  I sponged the edges after cutting it out with the Apothecary Accents Framlits.   The banner is Early Espresso Core'dinations CS ran through the Textured Impressions Wood-grain Embossing Folder and sanded with the Sanding Block.  The next layer is Newsprint DSP and I added Midnight Muse Satin Stitched Ribbon.  The little tickets are punched with the Ticket Duo Builder Punch and attached to one of the Vintage Trinket safety pins.  The inside is computer generated on Vanilla CS and cut with the Ovals Collection Framelits.   How do those kids grow up so fast!

Chris' Birthday Card

Friday, 9/28 was my sister's 70th Birthday!  Woo hoo....happy birthday sis'!  Here's the card I created for her special day~

I re-created a card we did at our Luv2Stamp Group's last meeting.  That one was 4x4, this one is regular card size 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.  I used Melon Mambo CS for the base, First Edition Special DSP for the first layer, the banner is cut from Early Espresso Core'dinations CS run through the Woodgrain Embossing Folder and sanded.  The ribbon is Raspberry Ripple Satin Stitched.  The Happy Birthday is from the You're Amazing Stamp Set cut with Apothecary Accents Framelits.  The little tickets are in the You're Amazing Stamp Set also and cut out using the Ticket Duo Builder Punch.  The little safety pin is part of the Vintage Trinkets pack.   I colored Rhinestones with a Sharpie.  The inside "happy 70th is from the Bring on The Cake Stamp set and run through the Big Shot with one of the Window Frame Collection Framelits.
