My photo
A very warm welcome to my teeny, tiny part of the huge world of blogging. This is where I share my passion for making hand made greeting cards. So - why "Always with a Heart"? Well this is for two reasons. Firstly, it is because every card I produce carries a heart on it somewhere. This can be big and bold or small and almost hidden - the fun sometimes is just trying to find it! Secondly it is because I put my heart into everything I produce. I hope that any visitors enjoy seeing what I post. If you drop by then please leave me a comment so that I know you called. It would be nice to know that you have found my heart in what I do.

TEENY, TINY TUESDAY

Hi Everyone

Happy Tuesday.

I hope you are blessed with the lovely sunshine that we are enjoying here today (sadly it does mean the washing line is going to be filled to capacity again though .. .. which means lots of ironing).  Boo hoo!!

Here with a teeny, tiny Tuesday make .. .. but one that is a little different to my normal teeny makes:

This used:

An empty rectangular hinged tin
Lots and lots of snippets
Dies
Stamps,
ProMarkers
Stencil
Quilling Paper
Pearls
Gems
Silver Gilding Wax
Silver Embossing Powder
Glamour Dust
Distress Ink
and of course My Trusty Sewing Machine!!

I was going to take this over to Pixie's Snippets Playground as all the card and paper used for decorating came from my snippet mountain .. .. .. but I then I remembered I have already entered this time so my make is simply for sharing with all my lovely blog visitors.

Enjoy the rest of your day .. .. .. and keep slapping the sun cream on!

WITH LOVE

Hi Everyone

I hope your week has been going well.

I am here today to use an image I fell in with over at Sandra's Etsy Store.  The ones that were on the website were pre-coloured images (beautifully coloured) but I wanted to colour my own and asked Sandra if she would be willing to release the image uncoloured.  Yay!!  Sandra said yes and added the image on Tuesday .. .. thank you big time Sandra!!!  I love it and will be using it lots xxx.

Here is what I made with it:

This used:

Image:  Whimsy Dreams Clipart "May in Black"  (it comes as a single and double image so more ideas lined up)
Sentiment:  LOTV "Embossed Labels"
Backing Paper:  From the snippet pile
Crafter's Companion Edge'ables "Renaissance"
Memory Box Dies:  "Kaleidoscope Butterfly" and "Moonlight Butterfly"
Distress Ink Pad:  Milled Lavender

So that is me for today.

I'll catch you again tomorrow .. .. ..  life should be a little calmer over the next few days so hopefully there will be some extra crafting time.

MERRY

Hi Everyone

I hope your day has been good.

All super busy here at the moment so the days are flying by in the blink of an eye.  I can't believe it is nearly October already!

Here today with my last Christmas card for September.  All five now complete.

This one is for taking over to Fezziwigs Festive Frolics Challenge where the theme this fortnight is "Inside Out".   This means the inside has to be decorated as well as the outside and this is what I came up with:

This used:

Image:  Penny Black "2521K" Snowy used with matching die.
Sentiment:  Crafter's Companion "Festive Wishes"
Backing Paper:  The Works
Stag Die:  Sizzix "659376" Holiday Joy
Spellbinders Circle Die
Tree Die was unbranded from Amazon
ProMarkers
White Gel Pen
Acetate
Fineliner Pen
Tumbled Glass Distress Ink

and that is me for today.

Enjoy Tuesday when it arrives.

ROCKER CARD

 Hi Everyone

Happy Thursday.

I hope that your day has gone well.

Today I am merging three challenges into one with this little creation:

This used:

X-Cut Large Circle Dies
Spellbinders Shapeabilities Dies "Layered Poinsettia"
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder "Snowflakes"
Distress Ink "Shabby Shutters"
LOTV Christmas Labels
Ribbon and Cord
Pearls
Eyelet
Diamond Stickles

I am entering this little creation into the following challenges:

Fezziwig's Festive Frolicks - where the theme is to make an interactive card (hopefully my rocker card counts)

Christmas Kickstart Challenge - where the theme is "White on White" but you are allowed a "pop of colour"

Pixie's Snippets Playground -  where each fortnight we are encouraged to use up our snippets .. .. .. lots of white snippets are stashed away here that's for sure .. .. .. and a few of them were used up here.

Of course the fun with rocker cards is balancing them so they stand straight in-between rocking sessions .. .. .. I am sure the tiny heart made all the difference LOL!!

That is me for today with September Christmas card number 3 popped into the box.

I will catch you again soon.

AND A BIT MORE CHRISTMAS

Hi Everyone

Happy Thursday .. .. (why does it feel like it should be Tuesday?!?!?)

I hope all is well with everyone .. .. and if not that it improves very, very soon.

I am trying to get a few Christmas cards put to one side .. .. but this year I doing something different to normal.  I am making ones to put to one side for our own use.  Normally I make for customers first and ours end up being made in one mad rush come early December.

But this year November and December are going to be swallowed up by wedding work, so I need to be working on Christmas whenever I get chance.  Good job I love making Christmas cards.

So here we go with today's creation:

This used:

Image:  DigiStamp Boutique "Large Christmas Pups"
Sentiment:  DigiStamp Boutique taken from "Annie All Occasions"
Background:  DigiStamp Boutique "Snowy Backgrounds"
X-Cut Die:  "Happy Christmas" (which includes the scrummy little holly die")
ProMarkers
Crystal Glamour Dust

and that is it.  Another for my Christmas box.

.. .. .. and for anyone else who is in Christmas mode (or who like me collects images when they are a bargain) .. .. .. DigiStamp Boutique have 30% off all of their Christmas images/sentiments until the 17th June.

A bit blustery here .. ..  and not much sunshine .. .. Mum is going to need to be well wrapped up for today's outing .. .. but with the wind behind us the wheelchair is going to flow well.  (But not too good when the wind is head on!!!).

Enjoy your day everyone.

Hoping to catch up with everyone's blogs soon!!!!

GUEST DESIGNER POST - DIGISTAMP BOUTIQUE

Hi Everyone

Happy Friday!

I hope you are all well and are safe and sound if you have been subjected to the strong winds and snow.

Today I am sharing a card I have made for posting to the DigiStamp Boutique blog .

This uses a new clear polymer stamp set that has just been added to the boutique called "Heart Bunny".  As you can imagine anything that involves a heart catches my eye instantly LOL!!

The set is made up of a cute bunny peeping through a heart along with seven sentiments.

This used:

Image:  DigiStamp Boutique "Heart Bunny"
Backing Papers:  We R Memory Keepers "Love Notes"
Die-namics Die Set "Blueprints 14"
ProMarkers
Acetate
Sequins
Button
Ribbon
Glamour Dust
Dimension tape
My trusty sewing machine

I used the bunny image to create a little shaker style topper filled with pink and green sequins.

Don't forget you can enter any of your cards/projects using a Digi Stamp Boutique image into the monthly competition.  The prize is a fabulous £10 voucher to spend in the Digi Stamp Boutique Store.  This month, we've moved our competition to Facebook!  Pop over HERE and join our Group to join in.  We look forward to seeing you.

So that is me for today.  Stay safe and warm everyone.  There is a definite lack of school children around and about so all of their wishes must have come true and they got another day off school.

It is a long, long time since our kids were at home and we would snuggle under the covers in the "big bed" listening to the radio hoping that they were going to announce their schools as closed.  Happy days!!  So long ago and yet it feels like yesterday!

I am hoping Mr Heart and I are hibernating this weekend .. .. I have lots of wedding ribbons to tie!!

HAPPY COUPLE - ALL BOXED UP !!

Hi Everyone

Another dull and miserable day here today .. .. but only dull and miserable weatherwise .. .. not in my craft pod!!!  That is always an exciting and happy place!!

I have a very busy weekend ahead of me .. .. brides to see and my lovely Sis and her chappie are coming for a "sleepover" .. .. so I need to get myself organised.

So in an attempt to get somewhere with this masterplan I thought I would post nice and early (for me) and get ahead of the game.

What better way of getting in the wedding spirit (not that it takes soppy me any effort at all) than making a wedding card .. ..

Prepare for photo overload!!!!!!!!!

This used:

For the card:
Image:  Lili of the Valley (one of my favourites from them)
Sentiment:  Lili of the Valley
Backing Paper:  Pink Petticoat
Woodware Punch:  Inverted corner
ProMarkers
Adirondack Ink Pad:  Pink Sherbet

Glamour Dust
Diamond Stickles
Ribbons, cord, flowers, charm and pearls from the Stash Box

For the Box:
Self Assembly Box
Anita's Sentiment Stamp
Silver Embossing Powder
Go Kreate Die:  Frilly Square #3
Heart Vellum for the fold over wrap
Diamond Stickles
Flowers and pearls

So that is me for today.

Off to go and get some of that organising done .. .. plus I also need to pop and see Mum.

Have a lovely rest of Friday everyone and a good weekend.

By the way .. .. .. did you manage to find the heart today?  LOL!!!

Love
