Hello my  sweet friends! Hope you Thursday is going great. Can you believe we only have a week and we will be celebrating Thanksgiving Day next Thursday!!! Today, I'm sharing a mermaid felt doll my daughter requested for me to make. She seen this mermaid in a book with a mermaid template/pattern. To make the mermaids hair I used yellow, green and blue felt. For the face and top body I used white felt. The bra is made out of ribbon and a button. For the black eyes and red mouth I used  embroidery threads. Here is a close up of the mermaid with green hair.
The tail was made with pink felt. The mermaid doll measures 10 in tall by 2 in wide. The arms are 7 in wide. Hope you enjoy looking at these mermaids as much as my daughter does. She can't take her eyes off them! :) I like how they turned out too!

For this challenge, I created  this Bat Wine Bottle Gift Bags. This will be given to my friend who is hosting a Halloween party. I made this out of black craft felt and black glitter stiffened felt . I cut two black 7 inch by 12 inch piece of felt and sewn the sides together. I cut one black 5 1/2 inch circle and sewn to create bottom of wine bag. The seams  on side and bottom are sewn at 1/4 inches. Turn wine bag on right side out. I folded top of bag over about a 1/2 inch and sewn around to front.  I put a piece of ribbon in the sewn part to create a tie for bag. The bat ears  are  triangles and eyes are circles I cut them out  with  scissors. I glued the eyes, ears and wing on bag.  I used stiffened black glitter felt for the bat wings. The bat wing template is  HERE.

Felt gift card holders!

Hello all! Well life has been really busy with working and family. I don't have much time for posting many projects here. I'm hoping I will be able to start posting more in the Fall.  Here is a some felt gift card holders I created with my daughter. These can hold a small gift too.  Here is one with a Christmas Tree on it. I created this one for a Christmas in July project idea. :)
This one here with the cake on it is for a Birthday. ;) We stenciled the designs on the felt bags. I hot glued the bag together with a hot glue gun. It can be sewn but it really doesn't need to because felt does not ravel around edges. I punched hole at top with the Crop- A- Dile hole punch and put tulle in the holes to tie bag at top.
Here is all the items used to create the gift card holders. Craft felt,  Plaid stencils, tulle and Tulip crystal dimensional fabric paint.

Owl Charm Card!

Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week. My daughter starts spring break on Monday. I will not be doing any blogging. I will start posting again on April 3. I hope you have a safe and blessed Easter. Here is a few Birthday cards I made. The owls was handmade out of crafting felt. I didn't use a pattern. I free hand cut them out with my scissors.  :) The eye gem was put on with the i-rock tool. Card was embossed with cuttlebug Perfectly Paisley embossing folder. I punched holes with hole punch and added a silver and gold eyelets in top of owl. I outlined owl with  some stickles to give it some bling. Click on pictures to enlarge.
I made three different color. The Happy Birthday tags and Cakes is printed from My Memories Suite digital software. Butterfly is a MS punch out.
I like the white card the most. It is very pretty.
This is a cute card in person.
I cut a hole and tied owl charm embellishment inside with ribbon and a jump ring. Now it is hanging inside of card. The owl charm embellishment can be removed off of card.

Another Cute Project!!!

Happy Thursday! I hope you are having a great day. Hey, I got to let you know this! I was Talked About today and featured @ Designed Decor Link up Party #12. Click on blue link to check it out. :) I have another felt project to share today. I made some cute personalized dish liquid bottle aprons out of felt. Here is a link to the first dish liquid bottle aprons I made.
I did not use my sewing machine on this project. The good thing about using felt it doesn't need to be sewn around edges because it doesn't fray .  ;) I glued ribbon, flower and pink ric-rac on the apron.  The embossed letter is a iron on. The apron is a cut from Cricut Everyday Paper Doll. I used the Cricut machine and cut out the apron on heavy card stock  and traced apron pattern on blue  felt. Used my scissors to cut out felt apron.
These are so easy to make.
I used the I-Rock tool to adhere the gems to apron.
Have a great day. Thank you for stopping by!!! :)
