This really shouldn't still be a WIP. I literally only have the backstitching on the elephants left to do but it's so unpleasant to work on I have to force myself to pick it up LOL.

Oh, I remember stitching one of those. I ended up having to requilt it with fabric on the back to protect the stitching when I was done. It was a bit of a drudge but beautiful finished.
It's so close - why not just bite the bullet and enjoy the smug feeling afterwards, if not the actual stitching? but then again, what's the point in stitching if it's not fun! I'm enjoying seeing all your WIPS
It is so pretty, and so close- good luck finishing it!
