This has been a WIP for quite some time despite me loving it. I think it's because it just doesn't stitch up that fast on the black but last time I picked it up I used an additional light and that helped a lot. It's stitched on 28ct Black Murano using Silk n Colors 'Aurora's Flame'

Terrific progress since last I saw it!
That is just beautiful. Something that might help stitching on the black linen is to have a light coming from underneath, or if you don't have a laplight, try putting a white towel under the piece, this makes it easier to see the linen threads.
