LAGOON

My Summer is complete! Yesterday we hit Lagoon for our traditional Smith's days visit. I've gone to Lagoon every year at least once for as long as I can remember. Last year I missed it  and was so sad. So, this year I made sure I had it off work and I might even go again for bounce back! 

The boys are getting older so Lagoon is starting to get fun again. This was the first year I was able to ride the rides with them. Rather then stand in Kiddy land cheering them on as they honk the boat horns or spin in circles on airplanes. This year even Freddie was able to ride some of the bigger rides. I was amazed as my little guy (whose scared to go down the slide at the park by himself) climbed right onto "Dinosaur drop" "Odyssey" and he even went on the "Terror ride" and didn't get scared. After every ride he'd clap his little hands and say "that was soo fun!" 

X on the other hand played the chicken child this year. He freaked out when I took him to the new ride "Bombora" it's like a bigger version of "Puff'" The way he acted people probably thought I was taking him to get his leg chopped off. We got lots of stares but I didn't care I drug that child onto the ride anyways. The cute little ride attendant girl assured him it was a safe ride and that calmed him down a little bit. After it was over I was hoping he'd ask to go again, but nope he was done with that ride. He was scared to do "Dinosaur drop" as well but afterwards it became one of his favorites thank goodness. He loves the "Terror ride" too. I'm debating rather he's to young to take to a Haunted house this year. Just a small one, nothing to gory. I'm hoping by next year he'll be big enough for Colossus and the White roller coaster. Haha I remember my first time on Colossus. I cried the whole time we stood in line and my dad made me go anyways. After the ride was over and the tears were dried to my face after being whipped around a track at 55mph, I wanted to go again and again. Since that day I've loved the thrill of wild theme park rides. Hopefully X will feel the same. :)

Dinosaur Drop

Freddie's favorite ride. He'd hold up his little hands and then he'd laugh and laugh each time the ride would drop. 

 Hydro Luge

X's favorite ride. He went on it 5 times in a row! 

 Odyssey

We all loved this ride because it gets you wet! 

 Merry go round

Freddie was excited to ride the piggy. He has a little toy pet piggy that he loves. 

 Corn on the Cob at Pioneer village. 

I got X some special because corn on the cob is his favorite thing in all the world. 

GAMES

X and Freddie both won the game "drown the clown" They had to shoot water guns at a clowns face until the balloon popped. They each won a little bear. They were so proud. :)
