This week began on a sad note for our little family. My husband's bike was stolen from our backyard. Josh and I are both frustrated with this because our next door neighbors/ managers had their bike stolen, our friends two doors down had their bike stolen, and another bike from across the street got stolen. I'd say about $1200 or more in bikes were stolen at the beginning of this week.
You know, the whole ironic part about this "robbing" if I may, is the fact that we live in a subsidized unit. WHO ROBS FROM THE POOR??? I mean seriously? The gang community across the hills are known for coming over to our little community and taking bikes and other items of value. But why from a poor community? This has boggled my mind, and honestly has pissed me off more than I can even express. The worst part ... Now we can't ride our bikes as a family to the pool in the evenings. Something my son enjoys. Thanks for that.
Thanks for stealing some family recreation! I hope you have a "HELL" of a time with it!
~sincerely a pissed off mom!

I'm sorry that happened. People are so lame sometimes. I liked your blog though, it says it all.
That really stinks. Sorry. Hopefully they will find who did it. you never know you might get it back.
I'm sorry to hear about your bike! Was it locked up? Our neighbors in Brooklane Village always left their bikes laying around, I'd always expected them to be stolen, but right out from behind your house! i'd be pissed too, in fact I am for your sake. It sounds like it's a pretty organized thing if so many people are affected... I hope the police take action and find your bike. :(
What is it with stolen bikes? James's bike was a piece of junk, and it got stolen about a month before we left. Who needs that many bikes? And what do people do with them? I don't get it. How is school going, and everything else? I'd love to call you sometime when you aren't too busy and catch up! I cried for the first couple days after we left because I didn't really get to say goodbye to everybody. Who would of thought that somebody who wanted out of Ellensburg for so long would have such trouble leaving.
i hear ya sista...i had my ipod stolen....and cds and jake got his tools stolen....it sucks!!!! Man sounds like yall might need to invest in a bike lock....or do what we do and still leave stuff out cause we didnt learn the first 3 times lol
Man what a bummer! It's sad when people do things like that. What goes around comes around though, so they'd better watch out.
Yeah I'm glad you found my blog too. I never knew when I started this that so many other people already had one. It's such a great way to keep in touch and share our lives with others.
