one day and its month number eight

wow. too fast. the days, that is. just got home from SM Megamall, saw some brethren/online buddies, and had a great date with mom. mom and i haven't been to a date for quite a while and it's so nice to chat with her again. seems like we are just good friends. i gave her a treat at Mr. Donut (after eating my munchkins from Dunkin Donuts, hehehe..) we've talked about a lot of things, mostly family matter. i miss this kind of conversation with her. she's been too pre-occupied with badminton and table tennis with her friends. bah! now i can blame her that (shortcoming) here for all i want since this is my blog. har har har... she informed me she hasn't been successful in getting in touch with my sister to update her on some things... paging: Ate B...

speedy week i had, our boss is out of the country so we had a less pressure-operation at the office, not to mention that Watsons didn't place any purchase order for the past week. i was busy attending to our in-house products inventory and the most thing i hate: filing papers. ugh!

anyway, i was able to clean-up my table clutter after our GM called our Admin Mgrs. attention re: my messy table. :D well, sorry, sir. filing papers is simply NOT my forte. good thing our new CS is reporting to work this coming week. i'll leave that to her. hehehe... talk about seniority. :p

- - - - - - - - - - - -

i had one of the greatest time of my life last Saturday when Camille & i went to SM Mall of Asia (MOA), after accompanying her to The Podium. just as i expected, the 2-level mall (MOA) is big. even its ice skating rink is i think double the size of that of SM Megamall's. camille and i looked for Pretty Fit store and i was able to introduce her to Jenny. Hmm... so they don't have Beetle Bug in that store branch. oh well.. we entered some stores: book stores, toy stores, novelty stores, Filipiniana stores, personal stores... and of course, FOOD stores! hehehe... we got hungry and tired and recalling the place where we ate, it reminded me of the funniest thing that we realized that time: we rounded the mall going back to the parking area from the food store where we took our dinner, just to find out that if we had just taken an escalator after we ate, it was there where we parked our vehicle. we were laughing out loud when we reached the elevator place after rounding the mall way back from where we came from at first going to the parking area, and seeing a familiar place just below us. hahaha.. too funny. the only thing is, we were able to take a peep at the center stage where Barbie was performing that night. her fans are wildly dancing right in front of the stage. we left after a few minutes cause camille and i share the same sentiment: it's not our cup of tea. :p

while on the way home, at Baclaran (just below the LRT-MRT crossing in Taft Ave), i got caught again for crossing thru a red light. i swear i didn't notice the traffic light and even the un-reflectorized hand signal of the traffic enforcer. yes, ladies and gentlemen. i got my third traffic violation ticket in just a span of five months. wow. talk about donating too much to the government's fund. at least, i still keep high my values by not bribing these enforcers in exchange for a traffic violation ticket. again, i'd say: stop graft and corruption! (and next time, follow the traffic rules and regulations, hehehe)

speaking of a social cause, i remember myself talking to a GREENPEACE Movement volunteer, Philippines chapter, regarding donating or becoming a sponsor to the organization. the written agreement requires one to give his/her bank account or credit card number to authorize the representative to debit from it as the form of donation. i didn't like the idea, i even inquired if they receive cash instead (with receipt of course) but the guy told me they don't accept cash. well, maybe a good reason but i just didn't like the way of donating as it tells the frequency of being a sponsor but doesn't state until when do you like to support the organization thru giving the donation. that, for me, gives them the authority to debit from your account as long as they want to until who-knows-when... am i making it hard for you to understand? well, it's how their agreement paper reads. *shrug*

Love Isn't

Same Same

Do you ever wake up in the morning alone?
And do you ever wish that there was some way you could stay at home?
With somebody who love you and needs you
With somebody who helps to complete you

But I’ve made mistakes and I know forsure
I won’t forget to remember

Love isn’t
Always as you see it
Love isn’t
Always as you dream it should be
Love isn’t
Always gonna find you
But this is love
Cause you’re all I’m thinking of

I wanna tell you that I’m sorry I didn’t mean that
I wanna say I love you but will I hear those words come back
From somebody who loves me and needs me
From somebody who helps to complete me

But there’s one concern that I must consider
Before I start to paint my picture

I’m gonna take my chances
I’m gonna lay my heart out on the line (on the line this time)
I’m gonna love you endlessly
But I’ll keep this in the back of my mind

ulan atbp.

TGIF!

nice sunny morning! i finally saw the sun after almost two weeks rain and cloudy weather. i'm forecasting another busy day at work and i'll try my best not to have a backlog for tomorrow. It's our thanksgiving worship this weekend and i'm scheduled to perfrorm four times.

anyway, a lot has happened since i last posted and some highlights include the arrival of people from Canada--- (jul 13) tita Lolet and family, (jul 14) aunt esther with uncle franco and apung nining. with the first, i fetched the family at NAIA together of course with Camille and her family including tita gie and the kids. i've met Marvin Jay (MJ) and Cindy and they're from the locale of Ottawa. two days after (jul 15), the family gave a late birthday surprise celebration for Cindy at Max's Restaurant in Taytay. Day was surprised (as she says) and MJ showed his video presentation to all the guests featuring his one and only sister Cindy. at the party, there was this guest, a child perhaps of ms cora, who performed magic tricks. it was pretty good... you must have really fast hands to get away with it. :p the next day (jul 16), they went to the Central temple to worship and i was supposed to come with them but for a reason i couldn't--- which leads me to my next story...

our family, grandmother (father) side held a family reunion two days after my apu's arrival. it was held in lourdes, minalin and i was just too glad to have reunited with my cousins up to the third degree. i didn't know all of them while some were face-familiar. families from each sibling of my grandma were separately introduced from the youngest, then had photo taking. and of course, it's just too nice to see my apung nining once again. i've been close to her since i visited Canada. i remember the fact that i was around three years old when apung nining departed from Manila to Canada and i was with my dad then at the airport to bid farewell to her. with that, my apung nining always remembers me when she sends her greetings every year to her family here. and it was only when i went to Canada that i got to be with her for long. apung nining is the eldest among the siblings of my grandma's side.

July 16--- my best buddy Nicks bday. i greeted him thru SMS and he replied:

me: hey dude, happy birthday! when are you visiting back?

him: hey dude, thanks for the bday msg. kakatapos lang ng pasalamat namin this morning, nag-overnight dito sa bahay ang mga binhi parang game center ang bahay ko. i'm running 3 computers and 2 playstations. bukas punta kami buong locale sa beach for my bday. di ko pa sure kung kailan uli ako bibisita dyan. depende sa next assignment ko. sige, ingat dyan, kumusta sa lahat.

me: wow. beach! sarap naman niyan. well, you better be here next year. God-willing, i will ** ******* *******.

- end of international text conversation - :p

just then, before going to Pampanga, my mom and i decided to have breakfast at Jollibee-MAKRO and at the parking lot, we saw Nick's mom and dad. i told her i was conversing with their son thru SMS. they're just too glad that our friendship hasn't wavered through the years. and finally, they were telling me to take good care of Camille since she's been their sakop (INC thing) since childhood.

on another story, my sister phoned my mom last week and is telling her to again attend to her papers for a temporary visit to Mississauga. things have been developing for our family and nobody can tell what's gonna happen next. for the meantime, i have to prepare and go to work.

stories and some.

wow. blog time! i have been longing to update this thing but too much pre-occupied with work. so, i'm not discussing work here. :p

hmm, let me see... i'll start my story with my visit to the NEU Glee Club when mom Fe celebrated her birthday. I was so delighted to see her again, and the group of course. i was looking forward to see some alumni members, and two current members: Tami & Dex, but the latter wasn't there. Anyway, i was with Arman and in the office taking lunch ahead of us were Kristie, Butch, & Edmund. A few minutes after, Weng arrived, followed by Onin & Ian B.

Food, as usual, was overflowing. well, di naman ako masyadong matakaw kaya para sa akin, marami na yung pagkain. I just ate pasta and fruit salad. di na ko kumain ng manok at kanin gaya ni Arman, hindi kumukupas, matakaw pa rin hanggang ngayon. hehehe... of course, birthdays come with a birthday cake. i think mom Fe had many cakes including cake rolls from other members who visited. but the chocolate cake seems so yummy. too bad, i didn't took a slice of it. :(

Kristie was telling me that earlier, mom Fe had the routine "birthday drama" wherein she usually displays the "mad mood" as if telling her members that there should be no funfare for the day. but then again, i was delighted to see her in a very light and good mood when we arrived. and this is the only time i have talked to her like a best friend of mine. i've asked how her health is doing, then told her to take it easy. she's been working too hard, nearly neglecting her health and everything just for the sake of her duties in school. but she assured me she's taking good care of herself and told me she rarely visits the clinic anymore. i have been talkative that time. i felt it. at the same time, i was rushing my moment with the group since i only took a lunch break out from the office.

the group's photo with mom Fe, batch 2006:

very noticeable: There is no "I" in "team".

upon treading the way to Katipunan going back to the office, i decided to get my gurL her love food: Japanese Sweet Corn. I got one pack @ 50 bucks and the good old lady gave me two extra cobs as per my request. good buy. talk about haggling. hehehe...

- - - - - - - - - - - -

i have been to my dad's office in San Fernando last Saturday. While rain was pouring heavy that day in Manila, San Fernando displayed sunny and partly cloudy skies only. I just stayed in my dad's room (located behind his office) and watched WWE Smackdown & RAW, while waiting for our van to have the change oil done. I wasn't able to take the van home so my dad lend me his car in exchange for it. Before i went home, i bought myself (oh, it was courtesy of dad) a jar of garlic peanuts. mmm... my favorite!

kwentong serbisyo publiko at prinsipyo

manang: ...

Last Saturday workday, YEY!

Yep, ladies and gentlemen. This is my last Saturday workday! Starting Monday, i will be on an 8 to 6 schedule, Mondays to Fridays only. hehehehehe... now i'm thinking how to use up my Saturdays, especially my mornings. I won't be scheduling other things much on the afternoons coz it's my time with Ayah after her work. Probably, i'll be spending my time at home because i rarely have the time to do much things at home since i started working on a 6-day work schedule. hmm... i have to talk to her regarding my Saturday sked so we could both be productive in our own businesses during those days. but still, our Saturday afternoons should be reserved just for us. hehehe...

anyway, i have to finish some things before i end up this last Saturday workday of mine. our SDT project will take off on Monday and the vans to be used for that project was just brought to us this morning (with all those "graffiti" all over its body). take a look, they look amusing:

and now they're ready to go and spread, i mean, prevent over-population in the country... vroom vroom...! LOL

- - - - - - - - - - - -

ayah & i will be watching Superman (2006) after office today. her tita G and three cousins might be with us and afterwich, we should be going straight home to catch up tonight's episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Sojo entitled "Putik". Guess who's featured in one segment? hehehe... :P

- - - - - - - - - - - -

i have called Ka Ellen at home this morning (12 hours late, eastern daylight saving time) and was glad to hear her voice again. i guess it was kuya albert who first answered the phone and he might not have recognized my voice. anyway, his mom was cutting the hair of boss noriel when i called so we just cut our chat short. i was also trying to reach my sister but nobody's answering home. oh well. i really hope to get to visit there when RJ celebrates his first birthday.

ok... it's the first day of July. sooner you'll realize, it's the last month of 2007. yay!
