This weekend was an absolute whirlwind - the whole week was, for that matter. It was the wind that just kept coming and coming, and I felt as if I might just be swept away by it all. The reality was that John's week was super busy, which meant that I had a lot of time with the little girlies. Saturday was the first Hog's game in Little Rock, which means it is one of the busiest days of the year that our restaurant has, since we are located less than a mile from where they play. We do a ton of catering that day, and John worked a lot of Friday and Saturday making sure things went well.
And to keep the whole family in the spirit, I dressed the girls like this.
I took about 25 or so pictures to get to that one. First, Bella was diving.
Then, Lily was diving.
Then, the synchronized dive.
Then, the synchronized consuming of the Candy Corn bribe. You can't see it, but I am also eating Candy Corn. It is like I can't stop myself.
Thankfully, they have been really sweet girls this weekend and even today. I have been keeping myself busy with other friends whose husbands are also busy, which has helped the time pass well and has kept the girlies entertained and mommy sane and even encouraged. I am learning how to embrace this crazier time of life and cherish the friendships that are borne out of the trenches with all of the children in the mix.
And, we have already arrived at Monday - how quickly it comes! Tomorrow our Bible Study starts at church, and I am so looking forward to soaking it up and seeing all my friends and making new ones and growing. I have so much growing to do.

They really would be great synchronized swimmers, diving into the deep end! :) So sweet!
