Everything about Oregon was perfect and relaxing and wonderful for us. We stayed with Joe's parents while he had his first experience working in a pharmacy at the local Bi-Mart (a small town Costco- you have to have a membership to even get in!) His parents live on the outskirts of town sandwiched between wheat, onion, and corn fields. Amazing, remote and peaceful to a city girl.
The wheat fields were green the first week we got there.
By the time we left they were looking very golden!
Joe and I loved walking and jogging among the fields.
I had fun with the camera one day just Rockwell, Rosco(the dog), and I. Enjoy the cute little guy!
Grandpa's buddy
Sometimes when Rock would see Rosco he would just laugh and giggle!
Grandma and Grandpa have a small ditch in their grass. Rockwell looked so small in the grass! Isaiah wasn't sure what to think of it either.
Uncle Aaron came home from basic training while we were there, perfect timing!
Rocky is a helpful cardplayer.
We tried rice cereal for the first time in Oregon. We thought he might like it, but it was not a success!
For Joe's birthday we had a bonfire, and tinfoil pizza dinners. Very tasty!
He requested a rocky road cake for his birthday. Chocolate cake, a marshmallow layer, chocolate frosting, and almonds on top!
One day we drove out to Catherine Creek, one of the family's favorite retreats for a picnic.
Rocky boy didn't like going in past his feet. The run off water was just a little too cold.
The Snake River. I have a feeling Rocky is going to enjoy water as much as his dad.
Warren and Joe, admiring the view.
