New family pics

We had our family pictures done by Peekaboo Photos. They have done several of our family pictures in the past. They do a really good job. I am pretty happy with how they turned out. You can see a link to their blog on the side of this blog.

child abuse????

So yesterday I took Karson into his yearly wellness check up and this is what he looked like. He got a black eye at his birthday party on Saturday by running into and bumping heads with his cousin. When I picked him up from school to take him to the dr appointment he had a bloody nose earlier in the day at school so there was blood all down his shirt. I had his hair in a mowhawk. He looked pretty rough to say the least. I was a little afraid of what the doctor was going to accuse me of. To make it worse, when the doctor asked Karson how he got his black eye, he stumbled around and didnt give a straight answer. It looked pretty bad. Lucily I didnt get accused of any thing.

Happy Birthday Brinley and Karson

Karson and Brinley had their brithday party. Brinley turned 3 and Karson turned 7. They had their party at Pirates Island. It was really fun. My 3 brothers came with their kids and my sister in law and her 3 kids came. It was a fun party. We went over to my mother house for cake and presents after. It was a lot of fun.

Halloween party

My brother Randys daughter Kate had a birthday party that was a Halloween dress up party. They are moving to Italy and their daugher Kate has her 4th Birthday in a couple weeks so they decided to have a party for her now before they move to Italy.

Karson starts 1st grade

I had to take Brinley to my moms house. I told my mom that Brinley thought she was starting school too so she had a little thing for her too for her first day of school. She had on her backpack and I had to pack a lunch for her too.

Karson starts 1st grade

Finally moved in

So we are finally in the house. We have been here for almost 3 weeks now. It was very stressful for almost 6 weeks but well worth it. Living back and forth out of a suit case with my parents and Jasons parents was hard on everyone. It ended up working out but the kids were really confused and at times acted out a little. Jason and I were seperated off and on and that was hard on us. I was up in Brigham City while almost all of the inside was being put in and it stressed me out to not be here. Jason would go over and take pictures and then email them to me so I could see the progress. It was crazy moving in and we still have boxes all over but we are so excited to be here. I love it.

This is the first night at the new house. The kids were pretty excited except for Brinley kept saying she wanted to go home and continued to ask that for about a week. She didnt quite get that this was our home now.

New House Construction

So we have started to build our house in American Fork. It all happend so fast. They dug the hole on the 7th of April and the last picture on here was about 2 weeks ago. They are moving right along. They originally told us they would probably be done around the end of July and now they are saying they are pushing for the end of June. It has been very exciting and very stressful. We were told we could stay at our current house that we are renting until the end of July and then we found out that we had to be out the end of May so we are moving into my parents house the end of this week. That should be interesting. Hopefully the house is done the end of June for our sake and for my poor parents sake.

I am hoping they will do the stucco this week so I will have another picture when that is done. Me and the kids drive by the house usually 2 times a day. It has been just so fun to see all of the progress. The last 2 weeks it has just been stuff inside the house so we cant see the progress as visable as we were but the next few weeks we should really see big things being done.
