It's the Great Pumpkin

It was SO rainy the day we had planned to go pick out our pumpkins.
We usually spend a few hours at the pumpkin patch, but with all the rain
and MUD we decided to just pick out pumpkins and then head home.

Cutler liked gutting the pumpkin, and wanted an Alien pumpkin with 4 eyes.
{forgot to snap a photo of the front of the pumpkins}

I love these potato head pumpkin faces that my mom sent in the mail for the kids.
This is my kind of carving...

Monster Cookies

Emily made these cute Monster Cookies, so I had her send me the recipe. One rainy morning, the kids and I made them. Kapri was potty training, so she cooked in her undies.
They were horribly messy and delicious
Cutler tried to see how much candy he could fit on his cookie.
 Even Jon made a masterpiece...
We made a ton, and wanted to take some to our friends, but no one was home,
so we had to eat them all ourselves :)

It's Started

We checked Cinderella out from the library.
Now I can't get this girl to wear pants. Who can blame her? Dressing up is way more fun.
I hated jeans, and didn't wear them till I was in Junior High.
(One of my issues was my height, and they didn't make jeans long enough back then)

My Bebe

I know I frequently bring this up. But why do kids have to grow up so fast?
We have pulled out all the newborn girl clothes to start getting ready for our new arrival.
{I can't believe I am 25 weeks already}
Kapri has claimed them all as hers. She even tried trying them on.
Most days I wonder...How am I going to juggle 3 kids, work, and life?
Sweet moments like this make it all worth it.

There is no friend like a sister, and no sister quite like you.

Thanks for coming and visiting us Randy and Emily. My kids adore you (mostly Randy, sorry Em)
For Kapri's Birthday we spent the day at Oaks Park. Lynzie and Ledger met us there.
The next day we went into Portland and did VooDoo Doughnuts and OMSI
Yum!
Over the weekend we went to Tillamook. We checked out the Cheese factory
Went to Oceanside Beach. It was freezing, but the kids didn't care.
They both jumped into the ocean before I could stop them.

After Oceanside we stopped at Cape Meares lighthouse.

After Cape Meares, we headed to Munson Creek Falls.
It was a short little hike that the kids could do. And it's always nice when there is a pretty waterfall at the end of it.

We pretty much did every touristy thing possible while she was here.
Completely exhausting and perfect!

Under the St. Johns Bridge

We decided for Mothers Day, It would be nice for the Grandma's to have updated pictures of the kids.
Our church was under renovation, so we were meeting in St. Johns.
I have always wanted to do some pictures under the bridge. It is my favorite bridge in town. It was the perfect opportunity before church.
I think as a photographer it really tests your skills to take pictures of your own kids.  They aren't super impressed with you, because they deal with you everyday. Let's just say that we weren't super excited to go to church after this adventure, but I did get some cute ones!
