Easter Weekend

We had a fun easter weekend. We started it off on saturday going up to Ogden to spend time with my family , we had a fun little easter party that consisted of Coloring eggs, egg hunt , eating yummy food, and just sitting around spending time with each other.It was soo nice and I had a really good time.On sunday we woke up to the fun goodies the easter bunny brought and Gracie was so excited to get the Alice in Wonderland DVD from the easter bunny. After watching an amazing conference we ate a yummy , but not traditional easter dinner with roasted Chicken , mashed potato,stuffing,rolls and jello salad.It was a nice day!

Happy Birthday to Mike!

We celebrated Mike's birthday on friday,and had a great day! Mike and I went to lunch at Cheescake Factory , while my aunt came and watched the kids for us.It was really nice to go in a date with him. Then we had a mini Spongebob birthday party ;) We relaxed the rest of the day.
I love this guy so much ! I am so happy he is my husband and daddy to my kids. He has been so amazing helping me theese past few weeks and I love him for all the hard work he does for our family . I am so blessed to be able to stay home with the kids and it is all because he provides for us. He makes me laugh all the time and is my BFF :) Love you!

Happy Birthday to my little Princess!

We celebrated Gracie's birthday on March 6th , I cant believe she is 3! I love this little girl so much and I am not sure what made me smile before she came along! She is so funny and has a wierd little sense of humor and I love it all.I cant wait to celebrate many many more birthdays with my girl!
We had a little Princess birthday for her. Because Thompson was only 2 weeks old we didnt do a birthday party with anybody but our little family , but it sure was fun .

Thompsons Arrival

I have been meaning to post about this for a while. If you dont want to hear the "birth story" you can just skip over this post and look at the pictures at the bottom. ( As you can see it has been a while since I have done a post and they are all backward.)

This was a really challenging pregnancy for me, I was sick throughout the whole pregnancy , I was in so much pain from him being low , and I just felt I couldnt keep up with my little Gracie..oh and did I mention I was SICK THE WHOLE PREGNANCY! The night before going in , I was so nervous because I wasnt sure if I was going to have a c-section or natural.Between 35-37 weeks Thompson flipped and was breech,I couldnt believe it when the DR told me and I thought it was the worst thing that could happen to me. I cried the whole way home , sat on the couch the rest of the day , ate Oreos and cried. After my little meltdown I told myself it didnt matter as long as he was here.
We went in on the 17th at 6am. The plan was to try and turn him and if that didnt work go in for a c-section . After 3 weeks of wondering if this would work..IT DID , my Dr turned him! I told her I didnt care what she had to do just get him turned , so when she told me she was sorry she broke my rib but he was turned I didnt care! I was soo happy I started crying almost as much as when he was born. They started the induction at 9am and (with all the little details left out) he was here at 4:47 PM weighing 8lbs 21 inches. It was amazing and I am so glad all went well :) He has blessed our little family so much and it was the best ever having Mike home this time ( he was deployed when Gracie was born). He kept me calm and most of all got to see his little boy born . I love my life and my family and would do it 20 more times if I had to , to get this little boy in my arms.
