Cherry Mobile Flare 2X feature's a 4 inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen with 480 X 800 resolution, 1.2GHz Snapdragon quad core MSM8225Q processor, 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. Happy Man by Starmobile surprised their followers when they posted a new smartphone on their timeline, the Starmobile Diamond D1. A phablet (5-inch) with a quad core processor, 1GB RAM, usual 4GB Internal Storage, HSPA+,  and running Android 4.2 Jellybean. What’s surprising is the phone's 3,000 mAh juice. Judging the pictures, it looks very thin and slim.

Download New Google Android Kitkat Launcher

While waiting and hoping for the release of Official Google Experience Launcher in the playstore which  is not confirmed yet, the geekguys from phandroid.com managed to get the launcher extracted and uploaded for the public. To use , you must download all three APK's they have listed and i will list them here for your convenient: 

       1. PreBuiltGMSCore (Google Play Services 4.0)

       2. Velvet ( Google Search/ OK Google )

       3. Google Home (Google Launcher )

Download all the APK's and Install it to your device in order for you to experience the new Google Launcher. For many, you may run into an error where the Voice Search will force close but the amazing people over at XDA-Developers seem to have found a way to permanently fix the force close issue on the Google Launcher. Take note that your device must be rooted to apply this fix.

• Download this file libgoogle recognizer
• Once downloaded, extract the file.
• Move the file to /system/lib
• set permission to rw/r/r
• restart your device
• Voice Search will Force Close one more time. When it’s done, it should work flawlessly.

Facebook Messenger Redesigned is now ready for download

Facebook Messenger app for Android did a huge update earlier this week. It does load faster and run more smoothly than before, it also has a complete new GUI which introduces new tabs for your friends, conversations, settings etc. Heres the official changelog about the new features:

Facebook Messenger for Android changelog:

• If other friends are using the app you'll see Messenger icon next to their name and they will get notified instantly about your message.
• Now you just need contact's phone number to begin texting others using Messenger even if they are not your Facebook friend
• New design with three new tabs to see recent conversations, a list of the people you message, and settings.

At present, only the Android app has been updated. It is uncertain as to when the iOS app will be receiving these new features, but rest assured that it will happen soon.
