Angie Delarie Friday sketch

Hi everyone, it's been a busy week here. Work and housework have been taking up all of my time. On top of that my laptop isn't working :( Just one of those weeks I guess!
I did manage to fit in a smash* page for Angie Delarie's Friday sketch challenge The challenge is to use the sketch provided an to use rustic colours and a pocket.

I used Angie's "Typewriter love" digi image. I had some close up photos but they are all on my laptop so I had to use a photo from my phone. The ink in the printer was running out so the image came out black, orange and red! See what I mean about it being one of those weeks?!

Coffee Smash

For the final week of Emily and Aideen's summer smash blog hop, the final challenge is a fun colour challenge. I'm very happy with myself because I actually managed to play along each week!

I thought it would be fun to do a coffee page because I hadn't actually Smash*ed one yet even though I have scrapped a few. I used some of my lovely new embellishments- doily, camera button, tag and bird (aren't they cute?!) that I won on the super talented and whose pages always inspire me Karyn's blog! :) Thanks again Karyn!!!! :D

Anything goes & the Olympics

Sunshine

Sunshine is something we have not seen much of this summer. June was the wettest June recorded! How I wish I lived somewhere sunny and warm. Until that happens I have to create my own sunshine. This page is for the sunshine/luz do sol challenge on Smash Mania . I used twine so that counts for day 20 of the 30 day Smash* challenge on Smash*aholics

Washi tape

I love washi tape! It has to be one of the coolest products to have come out lately. I added lots of washi tape to this page for the day two challenge on the 30 day Smash* challenge on Smash*aholics. So far this is only my second page and I'm doing them in a random order but once I'm getting some Smash*ing done I don't mind :)

This is about the Rhys Darby show we went to in Dublin. He has to be one of the funniest people ever! I didn't want the night to end. We also had a lovely dinner in Azteca and hubby did some shopping in Mr. Simms sweet shop :)

Favourite thing

Hi everyone! My new job has been taking up all my time this week so this is just a quick post as I'm back in work soon. I did this page about one of my favourite things - Garfield! I have loved Garfield since I was a kid and now my two boys love him so I just had to do a page about him. A day book

Hi, I hope you are all having a good week!
There's a fun challenge going on over at the Smash*aholics facebook page. The challenge is to make your own Amy Tangerine style day book. I love Amy's cute books but I don't own any so I thought it would be fun to make one. I used some of my Crate Paper "cottage collection" paper and die cuts. This paper is some of my "that's too pretty to use" paper so I thought it was time to give in and finally put it to good use!
