Make salsa mini Smash*

A quick page in my new Mini! I already had the photo printed and wanted to Smash* so I came up with this.  I make this salsa all the time, it tastes like summer! I love it with nachos, quesadillas and it's perfect added to boiled rice to make a quick tasty Mexican rice side dish.

I used my new washi tape and camera stamp from the beary scrap and one of the cute yo-yo's that Karyn sent me.

Sketch Saturday card & a Smash* page

The lovely Angie Delarie was having a give away for her new digi stamp "Arcadia Bear Lover" over the weekend! Isn't she cute? I just had to craft with her straight away! I made a card using Sketch Saturdays new sketch and a Smash* page.

Smash band tutorial

I got inspiration from a pin on Pinterest recently to make a Smash band. It's quick and simple to make and I got to use up some things I had sitting around!
The twill type material was wrapped around a pair of pyjamas I got for a gift. The yo-yo flower is one I made.

Materials
Twill/ribbon
Yo-Yo flower or large button
Hair elastic
Needle
Thread

First measure your twill or ribbon so it nearly fits around your book

A few quick stitches secures the hair elastic

Stitch the flower on to the twill

Put around your book and pop the elastic over the flower and you are good to go!

Lasting Memories have a blog hop along with a fun inspirational photo/colour challenge on at the moment

I love the colours, actually I love everything in the photo! I used the colour for inspiration and did a Smash* page for the challenge. My hubby recently won a watch so the photos are of him modelling it! The watch came from Japan and the box was stuffed with a Japanese newspaper so I just had to use some of it on the page!
I'm also entering this into the Simon Says Stamp "anything but a card Challenge".

I hope you are all  having a great Sunday.
I got some smash*ing done today for Lizzie's challenge on Smash*aholics, which was to use a digi image. I used a tea cup for mine from PaperCupcakes "afternoon tea". I also used some of my favourite "regular" stamps from  Stampendous "from the Kitchen". The bingo and love stamped embellishments were from a friend.

Pink challenge

Good morning!
I'm only now getting around to posting my page for last weekends pink Smash challenge. I found this pretty notebook in Tesco recently and I thought it would make a perfect mini Smash album. I'm using up some paper from my 6x6 and 8x8 inch pads in it. I used some Papermania paper for my pink pages.

Favourite place

Good morning! It's a bank holiday here, no work or school, so hopefully it will be a nice lazy day!

Smash*aholics challenge

Happy Saturday!
Smash*aholics have another weekend of 24 hour challenges again this weekend (love these challenges!). As much as I love crafting, I'm definitely the kind of person that needs motivation to actually craft and these challenges really help! I got a new red Smash* book this week! Yay!! They are available to buy in Ireland now (so no more ridiculous shipping costs!) from Cardznscraps if anyone is looking for them over here.
