Finally! After almost a week of waiting for my friend to send me copies of our pictures taken last Sunday night during Faith Cuneta's birthday concert, I now share with you my "kodak" moment with Faith herself and her guests including the very gwapo, Gabby Concepcion!
Backgrounder lang. I was able to watch the concert thru the kind gesture of my good friend, Lui's boyfriend, Ferdi who is a close friend of Faith. In short, libre ako! Free-loader, lol! It was a very nice concert. Nothing spectacular with the show except for the beautiful voice of Faith. Surprisingly, I very much like her voice especially when she makes "birit"! Claro! Solid! Not like other singers na pasigaw. I love her repertoire that evening. She sang songs that I really, really love. I hope her show will be shown on T.V. I recommend watching it. She had quite a lot of guests that night which includes a certain Arthur (forgot his surname, sorry), Joy Viado (grabe! surprise with this girl. galing ng voice! very funny too!), chairman Bayani Fernando (he sang How Did You Know?, would you believe?! he also made "paramamdam" na for 2010. you know what i mean :)) and of course, the one and the only Gabby Concepcion!!! We thought he's not going to come out na kasi Faith already made her final song and then out of nowhere, a voice came out and it was Gabby's! Asking Faith where's she going? I foudn out later that was their "pakulo" for Gabby's grand entrance. true enough, this scheme brought the house down! Fans were screaming to death (including us?! hehehe)! Then, he came from behind our seat. Gosh! I was speechless when I first saw him. Ang puti!! As in!! And syempre ang guwapo pa rin! My friend, Lui's first reaction on the other hand was "ang gwapo!!", lol. Anyways, he went upstage and sang a duet with Faith and later sang a solo. He was quite a comedian that night throwing a lot of jokes.
Over-all, I find the show entertaining. Thanks to Faith's wonderful voice again. Bonus na lang si Gabby and the rest of the guests. Though may mga controversies (read here), maganda naman talaga. After the show, we waited for a little while to meet Faith and hopefully Gabby at the backstage. While waiting for our turn to enter backstage, we had a photo op with the Chairman...
and with Paolo, Faith's backup singer that night. I forgot the name of the band he was with. Friend din sya ni Ferdi.
Finally, we met Faith na. Ferdi did the introductions. She was super nice to us..
And then, we had our most awaited picture-taking with Gabby. Thanks to Ferdi's guts, we were able to squeeze in the crowd and finally got the chance to have this....
Parang masyadong maputi face ni Gabo, noh? pero in person, gwapo sya talaga i swear!
I find him also mabait and accomodating. He even asked us if we enjoyed the show. I was speechless! Imagine he was talking to me while he was touching my "siko" hahaha, natulala ako promise! All I can say was "Yes sir!" Imagine? I called him Sir?! pathetic!
We left the place almost midnight na. It was fun. I enjoyed all the star sightings that night :)

Have you ever dream of having a grand vacation? I'm pretty sure all of us are always looking forward to having a break from all the hustles and bustles of work, family life and other things that have been eating up most of our time. I know vacations can be really expensive but this is not always the case especially if you plan your trip very well.
Lately, I have been looking at a lot of vacation ideas since I wanted a different one for this year. I chanced upon seeing this Christian Cruise, a Christian centered tour package that focuses on travel and furthering His kingdom. This is a great Christian Family Cruise that gives you the best of traveling by going to the different parts of the country which provides soft adventures and mission services to His people around the globe. They even have Bible Land Christian Cruises that combines life-impacting Biblical sites in Israel, Turkey, Greece and Egypt with the comfort and convenience of a mediterrenean .
If you are interested in these types of vacation tour pacakages, here are a sample of what your itinerary would be for some of the tours lined-up for the coming months:
July 19
Arrive Athens, tour Mars Hill and receive a special private teaching then up to the Parthenon and more. Transfer to ship for our welcome celebration as we sail out of the harbor on the most beautiful ship sailing the seas!
July 20
Day at sea for fellowship and teachings.
July 21
Arrive Dikili with a visit to the ruins of Pergamum. Pergamum is one of the two best preserved church sites. This amazing site overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. Not many cruises visit this historic site! This afternoon take a stroll down the beautiful beaches, or you can take in another church site.
July 22
Visit Kusadasi beaches with a visit to Ephesus. We will enjoy a teaching in the actual amphitheatre where Paul spoke to the Ephesians. We will see the most fully laid out Roman city that has been excavated. This is believed to be the best kept archeological site in the Mediterranean.
July 23
Visit the island of Patmos and John’s cave today. This is a quaint Greek Island where after our teaching at the cave, you can enjoy a stroll around the island, bicycle trip or even a scooter ride!
July 24
Full day visit to Santorini. The island widely thought to be the home of the Lost City of Atlantis. This island is also considered the most beautiful island in the world. You can visit the caldera and enjoy the thermal pools, bicycle, visit the Pompeii of the Greek Islands - Akritori. Quaint whitewashed homes, amazing shopping and never ending beaches is what you will encounter today.
July 25
Greek island of Sifnos this morning (beaches, BBQ and fun!) We will have an amazing beachfront teaching under shade but with tremendous views. You can take off scootering or bicycling around this quaint island overlooking the beautiful sea. We leave quite late this evening so there is plenty of time to enjoy a day on the Mediterranean Sea plus the island's amazing restaurants, shops, walks and sightseeing. It will be a day of rest for sure.
July 26
Arrive back in Athens this morning. This afternoon you will fly home or off to the beautiful island of Malta for our extension with the BASE Institute.

Relative to my post here, I am so happy to tell you guys that I had a kodak moment with the guy! Yes!..... Gabby Concepcion in the flesh!....
I enjoyed the concert last Sunday night very much. I was not expecting too much when I arrived that evening since I am not really a fan of Faith Cuneta. But after singing her first song, I instantly become hook with her singing! Very nice voice! Love it even more when she is belting out. Boy, you should hear her sing. She's just wonderful. I have pictures to prove that I had kodak moment with Gabby and Faith as well. But that would have to wait, as well as my detailed kwento, since i'm still waiting for the pictures from my friend who was with me during the concert.
Will post pictures soon! Promise!

In a few days from now, the month of June is about to start. This month is super special for me because a lot of milestones in my life happened during this month. First, this is the month that I married the love of my life, my husband. It has almost been six years since that very special day and I am loving every minute of married life. Second, this is also the birth month of my beloved mother whom I dearly missed until now. Sadly, she passed away also during this month, the exact day of her birthday. So, we celebrate both her birthday and death anniversary at the same time. Since she died, I now only dream of giving her the best gift I can could give her. She will surely love the pearl bracelets I saw at jewelrybox.com. The pieces of jewelry available at this site are just to-die for! They have a wide range of jewelries from necklaces, bracelets, pendants, rings and earrings. And since it is Memorial Day, their is an on-going jewelry sale that gives the best discounts and packages you could possibly get.
You too can get the best jewelries for your loved ones. Visit this wonderful site and see for yourself.
And since we also celebrate Father's Day this June, this is a perfect opportunity to give Father's Day jewelry to my dad and my dad-in-law as well. I am pretty sure even men could not resist a beautiful piece of jewelry they can treasure forever.

One of my guilty pleasure is shopping. I am not ashamed to admit it because it is true, lol. Whenever I feel sad or gloomy over something, retail therapy is one of the best way to cheer me up I tell you. I know that there is nothing wrong with it as long as you know your limitations, financially speaking. Anyways, it has been a proven fact that shopping using credit cards is the best way to fully enjoy the shopping experience. Imagine, you never have to worry about carrying a lot of cash when doing your shopping or groceries. The comforts of using this plastic cards can also be felt knowing that you may have the option to pay your purchases after one month if you are careful in using it and observe your credit cards cut-off dates.
I am a cardholder for many years now and I can attest to the many advantages of having had one. I have been given a lot in the many years of being a good payer. I got caught up with the many things that has happened in my life and before I knew it I now have a number of cards I maintain all at the same time! Some of them I hardly use!
I know that this is not ideal considering that monitoring all these could really be a headache. Not to mention the annual fees I have to shell out which are getting higher and higher each year. It is with this dilemna that I finally decided to seek the help of a debt consolidator. You see, I have come to realize that it is not ideal to maintain a lot of cards but instead, having at least two credit cards with high credit limit and low monthly interest rate, is the most practical thing to do nowadays. With this realization, I have decided to adopt debt consolidation on my existing credit card accounts. With this plan, I intend to maintain at least two major cards and the rest will have to be consolidated and the balance shall be transferred to the two cards I plan to retain. A lot of cards have been offerring this kind of set-up but I am not too serious that time. But at this point, wherein I am quite worried about my spending habits nowadays, I felt it would be better to take things in the most practical way we can. That's why for me, this is my best option.

If you are one of the many victims of identity theft, you must consider lifelock for your guaranteed protection. All of us, one way or the other, are bank account owners and credit card holders. Sometimes we thought, our investments are safe with the financial institutions we chose to entrust our hard-earned money but not everyone is aware that this is not always the case.
A friend of mine recently got the shock of his life when he found out that his application for a housing loan has been declined by the bank due to an outstanding credit card balance he doesn't know of. He was never aware of this and could not believe that such thing can happen. You see, my friend is a very responsible fellow who never lets any bills unpaid and most of all, all his credit card purchases are always paid in full. Imagine his shock when he learned about the bank's reason for the decline of his loan application. He immediately reported this incident to his credit card provider and demanded that his name be cleared of any debts as he has been a very good client.
Things like this could really happen to anyone. With the advance technology we have today, fraudulent activities such as this can possibly happen. It's almost the end of another month and our company as expected is catching up on our sales quota. Though, I am not directly connected with our Sales Group, our group helps in every way we can to help them achieve their sales target. I would recommend the services of a professional company like The Lead Dogs to help generate, manage and nurture qualified lead that turn into revenue. I hope our sales people will consider this recommendation as this will help them a lot in generating sales and later turning them to revenues.

A friend of mine recently got married and decided to purchase a condominium unit in Makati City for his new bride. They are both pretty excited since they've always wanted to have a home where they can start their family. The couple felt that a condo unit is the best option to live at nowadays since both are working in the busy makati area and buying a house and lot nowadays within the same area will probably cost them an arm and leg. So, they both agreed that condo living is the best option for them at least for the moment.
After paying for the reservation fee and paying full for the downpayment, they immediately prepare the bank requirements to avail of a housing loan to cover the remaining balance for their condo unit which they plan to pay in monthly payments through a bank facility. We all know how hard it is to comply with the bank's requirements to be able to be granted a loan but my friend painstakingly did all that just to get approval because they badly needed it. My friend submitted all the requirements to the bank and imagine his surprise to find out after a week that his application has been declined just for the simple reason that he had a bad credit standing discovered by the bank! He was so pissed off and demanded to talk to the bank manager as he was pretty sure that he has no other pending financial obligation and paid all his credit cards in full to avoid this things to happen in the first place. The bank said that they have nothing to do with it because they are just referring their client's financial background to the bank's database. Upon doing some research, they found out that it was not actually my friend who's at fault here but apparently his identity has been used to transact business using his credit card which he hardly use.
This can happen to anyone and we have to be very careful. Whether we are at a store, online at home doing some e-shopping or just about everywhere as long we as we are paying and using our credit cards, we have to be careful for fraud like this. It's hard to lose one's identity because it would mean that you have to spend a lot of time in cleaning up your name against all credits. And what's worst, you will know about this only when you have been turned down for a loan or contacted by a collection agency. Just like what happened to my friend.
This could be prevented if we have learned about life lock. LifeLock, the industry leader in proactive identity theft protection, offers a proven solution that prevents your identity from being stolen before it happens. With lifelock.com, our name and personal identity will be protected against all identity theft and their services are guaranteed uo to $1,000,000!
To receive better discount, all we have to do is use lifelock promo code and we can have the best available offer.

I have always been a fan of SATC. And when I learned that a movie is coming up with the same title and cast, I got pretty excited. It will be shown anytime soon and recently had their world premiere. As usual, the girls are all present and looking glamorous. But what caught my eye is what SJP wore in the premiere... look...
I laughed when I first saw her.. Can't help it... I love SJP, i love the dress but what's with the headpiece? What's that all about? hehehe... would Carrie approve of it? :) Just asking. I still love SJP and SATC by the way. No matter what.

As i previously posted here, I wasn't able to go home to Laguna to visit my mom in the cemetery as what I have been doing the past years. I have a terrible case of cough and hubby said no to my plan of going home. So, I was sad because that was the first time "i'm not with my mom" on Mother's Day. I just said a silent prayer for her and promised that i will give her a visit during my scheduled trip to Laguna by the end of them month. I am also working on a special tribute for my mom which I plan to post here soon. Just wait and see, ok? :)
I didn't let my loneliness for my mom kept me from enjoying this special day. You see, i received quite a lot of messages greeting me Happy Mother's Day even if i'm not yet a mother. They said that it doesn't matter because I am practically the "mother" of my siblings since mom died almost 11 yrs. ago. Kakataba naman ng puso noh? I just hope that I'll be able to experience assuming the role of a mother soon.
Anyways, i joined my in-laws for lunch at Cabalen Restaurant together with the family of my soon-to-be sister in law and her new baby, Chloe, which by the way was born on my birthday :) We had fun eating the whole time while making chikahan. Here is our group picture after the sumptuous lunch (sensya na its just a camera phone shot)

Now that Mother's Day has just passed, I am now looking forward to another important event which will happen in the next month. Yes, you guess it right. It's Father's Day! This special day is equally important as its counter-part not only because I will be able to celebrate this special occassion with my only living parent, my Dad, but also this day almost always fall within the same week or weekend of our wedding anniversary. This year, hubby and I will be celebrating our six-year anniversary and I would like to give him the best gift. Last year, on our 5th year, he gave a grand vacation trip to Singapore, so this year I felt that I wanted to give him the best gift since he's been the one doing it for me eversince we met. I'm thinking of giving him a watch this time. I was looking at a lot watches in the internet because he's very particular about this accessory. He's quite picky when it comes to his watches that's why I really need to research on the right model and type that will suit his taste. Good thing I learned about girard perregaux watch from vialuxe.com. Though, not quite famous here in our country, this brand is considered as one of the oldest watch companies committed to the concept of a manufactory. They have been in the business since 1791 and their timepieces are one of the finest and most complicated in world. You can learn more about this sophisticated timepiece from vialuxe.com. I'm pretty sure that my hubby will definitely like owning one of this because of its unique design, functionality and classic style.

Your Travel Personality Is: Easygoing |
When you travel, you're looking for a lot of downtime. Vacations are your chance to recoup. All you need is a scenic spot and plenty of time on your hands. You'll figure out the rest. You're not one to make lots of plans when you travel. You just follow whatever path seems right. |
Well, what can I say? I'm not really a difficult travel companion. I'm cooperative, patient and most of all, fun to be with :)
You Should Learn Swedish |
Fantastisk! You're laid back about learning a language - and about life in general. Peaceful, beautiful Sweden is ideal for you... And you won't even have to speak perfect Swedish to get around! |
Love to learn how to speak the language. Would love also to learn other european languages such as french, spanish, italian, etc... But, would need to perfect my english first bwahahaha...
I enjoyed doing this so i'm passing this to Kelly, Alpha, Aggie, Mich and Tet.

Also, don’t forget to credit the tagger, or where you got the list from, at the end of the list with a full URL of the post so that a pingback gets generated.

Rule #2: You now have to “tag” at least five people and encourage them to participate. Remember, though, that not everyone is into these kinds of things, so don’t be upset if they don’t participate. Just simply replace your tag. Remember to tag blogs only and no pornographic ones as we do want to keep the integrity as a blogging community.

Well, for the past days, I haven't been feeling well. I have a very bad cough which i'm pretty worried about and a sore throat. My hubby is worried also so we'll visit the clinic later for a check-up. I guess this is caused by my almost everyday trip to our project sites. I can't complain because that's part of my job. I just wish that i'll feel better soon. Tomorrow, is Mother's Day and for the past years since my mom died, I always make it a point to go home to Laguna and visit her and offer her flowers. But for this year, I decided not to go to have some rest. And this really makes me feel really sad. Nonetheless, this will not prevent me from doing something special for my mom. I'll be posting a sort of tribute to her here in my blog. And also I will still buy flowers for her and place it here in our house beside her picture. I hope to spend some quality time with my mother in law tommorow too, who has been very supportive of me and hubby. So, got to go muna. Be back with more tags and posts later.
Advance Happy Mother's Day to all my mommy blogger friends!! You know who you are girls :)

I was surprised to received this early Mother's Day Greeting from two great moms, Jacqui and MM. And to think i'm not yet a mom?, lol. Could this be a sign that i'll be one proud mama this year after almost six years of waiting? hmmm, lets just hope and pray. THanks ladies for these greetings! I'll accept this kahit di pa ako mommy. Wala ng bawian ha? :)
Seriously, I whole heartedly give all this mommy awards to the greatest mom in the whole world..... my MOM... whom i've been missing for the last 11 years na. Mama, you'll always be in my heart. Thanks for the wonderful memories. I love you!
I'm now passing this to all the wonderful blogger mommies.

I just saw my niece and boy! was I surprise to found out how fast she has grown-up! She's now a young lady! I still remember when she's still a baby and we would always shower her with kisses and hugs and now she's all grown-up! She even has a crush would you believe? Anyways, she told me that she plans to enroll in basic modelling for teens as she has been aspiring to become a ramp model. Well with her looks and height, she's very much qualified I tell you. In addition to her summer short course, I encourage her to check out http://www.lookoftheyear.com where she will have the opportunity to be spotted and recognized. At Look of the year, she can very well pass as a model because she's a beautiful and young and can easily get herself in a beauty contest. I'm pretty sure she'll make it. I know because she's my niece and i'm proud of her.
