Well, its been awhile since i've gotten on here, Kinda lame I know, but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of exciting going on in my life.. here are some highlights from the last few months..

I was a stand in Mommy for a couple of days to my beautiful neice Addie, it was fun, and exhausting, and I So admire Moms for the constant work that it really is to care for a baby! It definitely made me more baby hungry though! She is Adorable!

We went to Lava Hot springs for the Newcomb Family camp out. We had a great time, The hot pots were amazing, and It was really relaxing to sit around in The pools. It was a really nice weekend!

2 weeks later I woke up and my back was really tender so I looked in the mirror, and was shocked to find bruises and welts all over around my incision. After throwing up that morning, and having had hot and cold chills for 3 days prior, but attributed it to what I thought was a cold, I Took the advice of my surgeon and headed to the insta care, Of course this all happened on a busy Saturday, So after doing my clients I went to get checked out, YES infact I did have a bad infection Most Likely caused from the Hot Pots! Sad day. I was pretty miserable for a good week there, but it has cleared up now!

And Just this Last week, I chopped a chunk out of my finger while cutting my sister in Law Lindys hair, Oh man i'm clumsy. This was definitely the worst cut I've ever had. I really think I needed stitches, but I was Not going to go to the Insta care again, and pay for stitches! So We got it to stop bleeding and super glued it. Thankfully it stopped throbbing after 2 days.

Other than that, in two days I have my six month mark of my surgery, I wish I could say It was a good milestone, but it makes me depressed. I was supposed to feel pretty good at this point. And it is discouraging to think that this may be as good as it is going to get, I'm just trying not to dwell on it, and hope for the best. I'd lie if I said It hasnt been getting to me, its just a strange feeling to have looked forward to this six month mark for so long, and then be so Let down..

On another note, Isn't it exciting that there are specs of Autumn appearing on the Mountain? I can hardly contain my excitement when I see it!
