I'm trying so hard to be nice

Editors (Bobo/Meja Mommy) note:
Bobo tries sooooo hard to be nice but Meja is just a 'b' word, I love the little devil but look:
Bobo and I were having a nice game of 'throw the bear,' 'bring the bear,' 'throw the bear' and Meja swoops in and steals the bear

I can't even look at her

Where's the bear? You didn't even want the bear you just didn't want me to have the bear.

Editor's note:

We were going to take some pics outside but the neighbors are mowing and the pups run around like mad dogs and won't mind when they're mowing. Later mayhaps...

The day I stop whining and Bobo starts

Meja yelled at me today. I had a bone I was happily chewing on and she growled at me like I was a commoner! The nerve. Mommy had to come in and yell at her. I think she said a bad word like truck, I don't know.

All's I know is Meja stopped yellin and I got my bone back.

Getcha own bone, I'm king of this here mountain...

From Bobo the Sharpei puppy

In other breaking news: It's colder than a well diggers ass here, 19. (How cold is a well diggers ass you might ask? <19

Freezing rain and I have somewhere to go

Ok so it's freezing raining here in Michigan and I finally have somewhere to go! My niece and I have a date for the pups and I to go to her house and play word games all day today then her daughter goes back to school tomorrow and Flower (niece) and I were going to have a 'girl's day' tomorrow. Well... the freezing rain.

I got in an accident a while back and the dogs were with me. It was pretty traumatic, car was totalled but we were all perfectly unscathed. Except it seems Bobo's psyche. He's now scared to death in the car but still loves loves loves to go bye bye. A conundrum to be sure.

AND the last time we went to Flower's house we were in the back of a 60 some car pile up on the icy highway we have to take to get to her house. We had to wait over an hour for the mess to be cleared. During this looooooong wait Bobo was in the back of the car shivering. Poor baby I know. I've been taking them on short rides trying to get him more comfortable in the new car and it's been pretty successful. Yesterday we went to the store and he didn't shiver at all.

Now the quandary for today. I really want to go have fun at Flower's house but I'm not going out in the freezing rain with the dogs, too traumatic. She doesn't have a car so she can't come to my house. Should I brave it and just go for the day and leave the dogs.

Noper. Can't risk the mommy getting in another accident and leaving the puppies. There'll be another fun day at Flowers.

Michigan winters blow!

How to decide what to write

So I'm new at this blogging thing. I journal a lot on paper but love to write via typing. The words come smoother out of my fingers for some reason. So for this blog I'm going to do a stream of consiousness type thingy. Wanna hear it here it goes:

These two dogs are nuts! Bobo is a big boy - 65ish lbs. Meja is his little sister - 35lbs. When they came to us at 8 weeks old, via airplane from Florida, she had bright pink stitches on both eyes and stitches on her lip. The dogs are blue SharPei, but really look black. So I got this little baby girl out of the cage they'd shipped her in and She.Looks.Like Frankenstein! Pink stitches all over this beautiful little face. My sweet little baby that I'd been pining for and she's a freak. My shock was immediate and pierced my heart. The breeder had not deigned to tell me of these surgeries. I guess fearing my $1000.00 check would have bounce bounce bounced all over fucking Florida. She was probably right by the way!

But clever woman that she was she knew that once I saw her I'd love her. And I do, I do. But here's the thing. Meja had 6 brothers and she was the runt. They picked on her mercilessly. Thereby the stitches in her lip. They'd ripped her! The eyes were because they had to be tucked (a normal thing for SharPei but breeder bitch should have warned me!) So long story short Meja was terrorized by these bad brothers in her very young days. And now? now? she is the dominant bitch of the world.

And poor Bobo is paying a dear price. He's the sweetest, most mellow dog in the world. He's like a hippie from the 60's that's been on a pot high for 40 years. Also he's got very thin skin, literally. And... he's bigger and faster than Meja. So to slow him down she bites him. I mean she puts her teeth on his person and when he keeps going - RIP! My darling Bobo with the sweetest disposition in the whole born world has had stitches about 15 times because of this bitch that's been pissed for 5 years because of what her brothers did to her when she was 8 weeks old!!! Talk about holding a grudge.

I've pictures of the two turds that I'll post when I figure out how.
