I had so much fun playing with this collection! I cut up the This & That paper for added embellishment. Love it! I also added some of the new Vellum to this one, too.

I don't know if I can say it enough, I love this collection. ♥. Seriously. It is amazing...perfect for my boys.

Fancy Pants Designs | New Collection cards

I am just so in love with the new Fancy Pants Designs collections. They are amazing. As soon as I got my box in, I dove right in and grabbed up the 6x6 pads and got to work play.

I made 2 cards. One using As You Wish. Another using Nautical.

How amazing are these colors? The are so rich and gorgeous. I just love them. I added in one of the new chalkboard tags. They are actually sticky. You can peel off the back and stick them down. I opted to leave this one on its back piece so it would be a bit more stable/thicker. I LOVE the look of them and the that twine/rope string.

My second card is a bit more simple. I tried layering in a few other pieces, but I just really liked it as-is. So I finally left it and am happy I did.

This quote is amazing, and I felt it needed to be put on a card. Simple but awesome. :)

Fancy Pants Designs | Scrapbook Generations Create Magazine

There is a new, free digital magazine out, Scrapbook Generations CREATE Magazine. You can see all the details HERE.

For their first issue, they teamed up with the design team of Fancy Pants Designs. I was lucky enough to create for their debut issue. I was given two sketches. One for a layout and one for a card.

I used the TimberGrove collection for my projects, as did the rest of the DT. You can see all of the design team's takes on the sketches in the first ever Scrapbook Generations Create Magazine HERE, along with their in house team. The magazine is full of amazing inspiration! Fancy Pants Designs | Weather Report: SNOW

Is it snowing where you are?

Well, its not here. lol

It has though, on and off through the month, and I was lucky enough to get a cute photo of the boys checking out the first snow of the season. Unfortunately it was late at night, so I had to tweak the photo a bit, go black and white, to get it to look its best. :)

 

I used the Timber Grove collection from Fancy Pants Designs, and it is just amazing! 

Did you notice that I didn't stitch on this layout??
I know, right? It bothered me, too!

The reason for that is because I scrapped this on my coffee table. Yep, right in the middle of my new living room! New? You ask....

Well, we didn't move. But we are completely rearranging 3 rooms in our house. A new living room (old family room), a new family/movie/game room (old living room) and a new SCRAP ROOM!!! (old game room). !!!! I am so excited! We will still have the family computer in there, unless we can work it into the front room (new family/movie/game room). I am okay with that though! ;)

Not sure when it will be in a state that I can share photos. I would love to be able to have one of those perfectly organized, pretty, all the cool organizers scrap room. But, that probably won't happen. More than likely it will be more of a boring office overflowing with scrap goodies! ha! ;)

Fancy Pants Designs | Christmas GC Holder/Teacher Gift

I decided to hop on here and blog, for a change! ;)

It's been super hectic/crazy, as I figure it is with everyone else, but for me, blogging goes to the back-burner when it's like this! Sorry friends!!

So, today I have a cute little gift card holder to share with you all. I used the Merry Little Christmas collection from Fancy Pants Designs for it. I tried my hardest to get Jacob to pick out an actual gift for his teacher, but he stood his ground and wanted to get her a gift card to her favorite place! :)

I used one of the adorable Glassine Bags from the Artist Edition collection and grabbed some extra tissue paper laying around.

I did some simple layers on the bag and adhered them down with some strong adhesive, staples and thick, foam adhesive. Have I said lately how much I love the Large Decorative Tags??? Well, I love them! ♥

The inside card holds one of the Decorative Bags, which holds the GC. I added a sentiment sticker as the final touch. I then wrapped it up with my scrap piece of tissue, put it into the bag, and then enclosed it with one of the super-adorable Clothespins.

And his teacher loved it! :)

It's December!

Craziness.

It has been go. go. go. at our household so much the last few weeks. Honestly the go. go. go. has been everywhere but our house. We are finally home. Lots of shopping has been had, family has left, and we are about to get our home Christmas ready!

But, before that family fun starts, I thought I would share a layout with you featuring the Merry Little Christmas collection from Fancy Pants Designs.

I really love this collection, especially how diverse it is. I can make a cute, sweet card, like this one, or I can make a classic, Christmas-styled layout. It has beautiful colors and designs, and all the perfect little accents you will need!

 

 

Okay, I am off to get my house cleaned so we can turn around and make it crazy again. It's worth it, though. This is truly the most wonderful time of the year. (You see what I did there? Yep. I am a dork.)

Fancy Pants Designs | Give Thanks card

So, it's Tuesday, which means that the day after tomorrow is Thanksgiving! How the heck did this day creep up on me so fast??

I decided to post this today since tomorrow I will be knee-deep in prepping, and then on Thursday I will be stuffing my face with pure yumminess!! ;)

I put together this quick and simple Thanksgiving/fall card using the Happy Go Lucky collection from Fancy Pants Designs.

I just love these alpha stickers, too cute!
