Well, it's outside of the swimming pool drifter to be exact.


Coz he still not use to the fact that such a car-looking-thing-with-steering belongs in the water..


..and instead enjoying every minute dragging it around.


Maybe I just opt for a normal looking floater, huh?

We're otw back to Penang and just to inform others that there's a road accident at Plus highway km314, right after Tapah.


A lorry carrying chickens is currently blocking the fast lane,
resulting in a slight traffic jam.

But rest assured, it's clear road up ahead onwards.

Venturing to Marakesh

Once again, my parents are off jetting to another part of the world.
This time they're going on Spain-Morocco-Egypt trip.
With my lucky sister tagging along.


As usual, we (me, hubby, kiddos), happily sending them off at KLIA.




I'm telling you hunn (despite that I know you don't read my blog), I've sacrificed a lot this year.
First, the Umrah trip.
Next, the India-Delhi-Kashmir trip.
Then, mama's Dubai-Abu Dhabi trip.
Now, this Spain-Morocco-Egypt trip.
Better make sure next year WE actually go someplace, ok!
Hmmm..
I need something to cheer me up..
Can a handbag mend the broken heart?

Flat out..

This is what happened, after being dragged by mommy, around the Gurney Plaza.

I have spend thousands of ringgit buying car seats for them.

But in the end, they insisted on sitting/ sleeping on the pillows when traveling.

I have been using car seats for them since childbirth, but now since they can voice out their own opinions, things have gone astray.

Hmm.. do you use car seats for your children?

Let me know if you have any ideas on how to enforce the car-seat thingy again?

The must take, ferry ride !

Oh this is a must, indeed !

You may think we are like cheesy tourist, but who cares !

We really love the ferry ride, and we can only get it here, in Penang, of course.

So, lets just enjoy the ride.

Weekend getaway..

We gonna be having a long weekend ahead.

Today is a public holiday due to Nuzul Al-Quran,a national event to mark the revelation of the first verses of the holy book to Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

The celebration is one of the highlights of the Islamic holy month of Ramadhan.

And coincidentally, our Independence Day falls on 31st August, hence, another public holiday is coming.
So we decided to take the leave, and go somewhere.
The destination, none other than, Penang.

But instead of hanging out at relatives house at Kepala Batas, we decided to check into Krystal Suite, which located in the line of sight to the Queensbay Mall.
Hmm.. I can feel the shopping vibe kicking in..
Lets just see how bad the damages will be, later..

A day trip down south..

..to Singapore.
Yeah, this is an old news.
I forgot to blog about it earlier.
Oh well, better late than never, huh?

It was a last minute decision to just make a trip down south, over the weekend.
We drove down to JB on the night of 25th June 2010.
First time taking advantage of hubby's relatives in JB and crashing over their place for the night.
We parked the car at the terminal and went on foot into Singapore.

Took the bus, then the train.
And then on foot.
Seriously, it was indeed an adventure !

Our first and the only target was Takashimaya.
We were indeed lucky because on that very day, it was the Toy Story 3 movie promo.
There were appearances by the movie characters, Woody and Buzz..
And toys were on crazy discounts.
Yes, I was more excited than the kids.. obviously!

We headed back to JB by 7pm and yeah, that was it, really.

Conclusion:

• Kids stuffs such as toys and branded clothing lines are cheaper in Singapore during this Great Singapore Sale, compared to Malaysia. 
• Adult branded clothing lines such as Guess, Gap, etc are also cheaper in Singapore compared to Malaysia.
• Food, more expensive.
• Other branded stuffs like handbags, shoes, leather goods, are more expensive.
• Malaysian customs imposed tax on the toys bought by us.. although we kept telling them it's for the boys and not that we're selling them or anything and duhhhh, they're just in two Takashimaya paperbags!! Not a whole truckload!! We were charged RM30.
• Next time, bring stroller ! We decided not to coz we thought it's gonna be difficult to load it up onto the bus/ train but really, it's not that hard.  Carrying Arif around was a pure pain.  So, yeah, just take the damnnn stroller next time, ok, huney!!!

Made it, just in time !

To sent my parents off on their Delhi - Kashmir vacation.

Hmm.. darling, when do you suppose our overseas trip will be?

Flying off to the Holy City of Islam

 Once again, we're at the KLIA, as early as 7am in the morning..

..sending both of my parents and aunt off to perform Umrah.

Sharing our Hong Kong vacation - Day 3 night and Day last

Since the Disneyland post was too long, I've decided to split it up.

Here's us after the Disneyland trip, we spent the last night in HK to once again roam the city with the trains, of course.

 Here's us on the way back to hotel.. not many people in the train as it was already after 10pm..
This was our last MRT ride here.. as tomorrow we will be going back to beloved Malaysia!

The last day, at the airport, boarding to take the MAS Airbus 777 on 20th May 2009 2.30pm.

 

Oh and remember the Buzz lightyear gun that we bought for Amin's at Disneyland? Well, guess what, we almost got held by the authorities as they detected a "gun" while scanning the bag and that particular luggage had to be tagged and escorted separately by the security themselves into the aeroplane! Goshh.. it was a panic moment for us, but kinda hilarious too.  We wanted to hand-carry it but the security said that is a no-no.. haha..

  

There are plenty of shops at the airport, including the Disneyland store.. So, if you happen to have missed out shopping at Disneyland earlier, no problem! You can shop here and believe it, the prices are indeed the same as sold inside Disneyland itself!  

 

That's all about our trip to Hong Kong.. May we be blessed with health and wealth, for us to embark on another vacation in the future.. Till then, thanks for reading!

Sharing our Hong Kong vacation - Day 3

Continuation of our HK trip..

Third day - yes, DISNEYLAND day!
Oh yeah, mommy was more excited than the kids allright!

 As we were waiting for the parade to start at 3pm, Amin fell asleep and totally deep sleep!! We tried very hard to wake him up for the parade but he was completely knocked-out!  He missed the entire whole parade! And ended up sleeping till the tour van came to pick us back at 5pm! Ahhh.. bummer!
