The Witches Hat
I don't know when it was the last time this happened - two posts in one day. Yay! It has happened, but it was a long time ago... Well, this time I wanted to show you this hat I made from the Pink Paislee Twilight collection.
I almost got the Slice overheated working on this one. *LOL* I cut, and I cut, and then I cut a little more! You see, I haven't used my Slice much lately, because it's been so darn slow! Cutting a somewhat intricate shape took like forever, and you have to sit there and hold on to the little thingy all the time, because otherwise it will wander away and cut all over the place. But with the new design cards it's possible to increase the Slice's speed, so now it's really really fast, and cuts all the shapes in notime. It's a lot more fun to use it now.

Scrapjo's sketch sunday
Sweet Linda/Scrapjo is showing a weekly sketch over at her blog. I was thrilled and very honoured, when she asked me to create from one of her sketches, and today it's up. I love working with sketches, and Linda's sketch was perfect! You really should go check it out. Thank's Linda for letting me play along!
I won some stuff from Skaparlusten at the cybercrop at Allt om scrap a few weeks ago, and this layout was made from stuff from the huge package I received. The papers are from Prima, and they are fantastic! They made me dig deep into my pile of photos I haven't scrapped yet, to find these wonderful spring pictures. They made me think about spring, and how much I long for it every year. Spring is definitely my favourite time of the year.
I love to use tulle on my layouts. It has been a new favourite material for me. It really adds texture to a layout. The title is cut out with my slice, and I've used 3D-dots to make them pop a bit.
And then here's the photo of the day. It's baby Ida, daughter of two very dear friends of ours. And she has two very proud big sisters too. Isn't she adorable, all cuddled up in her mushroom blanket? Congratulations, Johansson family, to your brand new little princess!

Bind-It-All Christmas Cards!
The Bind-It-All is just great for making cards! I've made these small clear cards by binding sheet of acrylig to a piece of cardstock. I've used the Slice, of course, and the fab stamps from Stempelglede, that I can't seem to manage without nowadays...

And now is really the right time to go and check out the Bind-It-All blog. Not only have the girls posted some fabulous projects there, but they also have a great GIVEAWAY that you simply can't miss out on. At least not if you want to get hold of some cover alls...

Laura's sketch 14
No difference from my ordinary Monday ritual today... the usual 2 sketches 4 you card! The papers are from the fabulous Nook December kit. I've used my new Fiskars Treading Water punch for the scalloped border, and of course, the Slice...

Kazan's sketch 14
Do you guys know what my Monday ritual is? It's getting home from work, eat, spend a couple of hours with the kids before bedtime and then, when all is calm, I go into my scraproom and enter the land of magic... which is 2 sketches 4 you, of course :o) I'm seriously addicted to Kazan's and Laura's sketches! This week's sketch was just as fab as usual, and here's my take:
I'm equally addicted to The Slice, and I've used it for the white frame. It's so easy to grab it from the shelf, turn it on and just go! It needs no preparation and hardly no room on my desk, which there isn't much anyway.
I want to say thank you to all of those who take the time to leave a little comment each week. I'm so happy for all of them, and it really means a lot to me. Thank you also to those of you who give me the occasional award and challenge as well. I hope you don't think I'm ungrateful for not being quick about passing them on (I will, eventually). It's just that I try to combine being a full time teacher with being a mum and taking care of the home as well, plus trying to find some precious crafting time, and I guess you all know how difficult that is. So I try to spend a little less time here at the computer, which means less blogging and no time for answering questionnaires and such things. I'll try to find some time for that during the holidays.
Have a great week, all of you, and happy Thanksgiving, to those of you who celebrate that.

DT-layouts for Katscrap
I got this amazing package from Katscrap the other day, and I couldn't help myself from digging into it right away. It was full of goodies from Crate and Fancy Pants, and loads of flowers and ribbons and stuff. I was blown away by the Valentine collection from FP, the colours are fantastic, and I have plenty left for som more projects later on.
This first layout is made from a die cut paper from Crate, and one of the Valentine papers. The journaling spot is a FP overlay. Lovely, isn't it? I've used my brand new ♥Slice♥ for the title, and I'm absolutely in love with that little thing. This font is from the Noteworthy card.
The big flowers are also cut out with the Slice, and also from the Noteworthy card. I've inked, embossed, and layered them to make them look fuller, and than I've given them a finishing touch with a little glimmer mist, but you can't see that in the photo.
I did get some of my favourite Maya Road pins in the kit too. The little note is from the back of one of the Valentine PPs.
The next layout is all Crate. I used the Slice to cut out the tag, the title and the brown flowers.
And here's the answer to the question in the title: "Where did the pacifier go?" And it's here. I'm such a mean mommy, I took one of Agnes' pacifiers and cut it up to use it on this layout. But she isn't supposed to use them at all anymore, and that's what the layouts is all about. She thinks we've sent them all off to Santa, and he's going to give her a doll house instead. She does ask for them once in a while, but it was a lot easier to take them away than I ever imagined.
The last one is about our little troll. Dont you just love the Fancy Pants overlay tree? I've used the Slice for the journaling spot (those shapes were the reason I bought the Noteworthy card. I just love them) and the title.
