Another Easter Card

Good morning!  I have another Easter card to show you today using the second stamp from the Easter Pop Up Box.  I love this adorable Tilda with her cute little nose.  All of the papers are from Magnolia except the spotted one.

As always I have painted her with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.

The sentiment also comes in the set and I have used one of the Woodland Tags to cut it out.  The daffodils are also stamps from the pop up box.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Happy Easter - An Easter Tunnel Card

Good morning and Happy Easter!  Did you get hold of Magnolia's Easter Pop Up Box?  I'm so glad I did, they are so cute and there are lots of lovely sentiments.  I have created a tunnel card using Spellbinder's Nestability Easter Eggs dies.  All of the papers are from Magnolia except the spotted one.

I have painted Tilda with Distress inks to match the butterfly papers and cut her out to pop in the centre of the final layer of the 'tunnel'.

The sentiment was cut out with one of the Woodland Tags Doohickey dies and the cute daffodils are part of the Easter Pop Up Box too, painted with Distress Inks.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Craft Heaven DT - Happy Easter

Good morning!  I am a little late posting my Easter creation but better late than never!  I have used the gorgeous Tilda from the Easter Pop Up Box.  Isn't she cute in her bunny outfit?  The paper is by Pion Design - perfect for an egg card - I love it!

As always, I have painted her with Distress Inks using the no lines technique and used a white gel pen for the dots on her cheeks and eyes.

I have stamped around the edges of the paper with a couple of script stamps that come in the Pop Up collection.  The two sentiments also come in the set.

I have added gorgeous lace and flowers from Craft Heaven along with a seam binding bow.  The bird's nest charm from Craft Heaven is stunning with its little pearl eggs!  I have actually used the lilac seam binding but the poor light when I took the photo makes it look pink.

I hope you like it and that you had a lovely Easter.  Thanks for looking!

TOMIC Inspiration - Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!  I hope you are enjoying the Easter weekend.  We have made, and already eaten several, Easter nest cakes here and are looking forward to this morning's egg hunt!  You may have already seen today's project if you tuned into Magnolia's debut on Hochanda TV where my lovely team mate Becky created live on the show.  I'm sharing it today on the TOMIC blog.  I saved a pretty yellow egg box ready for decorating as an Easter gift - these are a great idea to give small eggs in.

I had to get an Easter bunny on here, of course, so I chose the sweet Tilda with Little Bunny from the Sunbeam Collection and painted her with Distress Inks as always.  I added Stardust Stickles to her head band and the frills on her pockets.  I also used the cute Sunlight stamp in the background.

To add some extra interest to the image I stamped her face and the bunny's tail twice so that I could decoupage the image.

I used the bird Doohickey from Vintage Box 5 and the recipe card from the Recipe Card Collection to cut out the image.

The sentiment is also from the Sunbeam collection and I've used the feather Doohickeys and flower spray Doohickey from Vintage Box 5 too.  The daffodils were created using the Daffodil Doohickey and stamens from my stash.  I made the little eggs from air drying clay before painting with white acrylic paint, inking with chalk ink and adding the speckles with a Distress Ink marker.

I added the same embellishments at the other side of the egg box.

I made a belly band for the egg box and edged it with lace Doohickey from Vintage Box 3, cut several times.  It makes such a pretty edge!

I hope you like it and thanks for looking!  Have a wonderful Easter!

Craft Heaven DT - Happy Easter

Good morning!  I have an Easter card to share with you today using the gorgeous Tilda With Little Chickens from last year's Sunbeam Collection.  I've teamed her with one of my favourite papers from Maja Design's Denim Collection.

I have painted Tilda with Distress Inks using the no lines technique and added white dots to her cheeks and eyes using a white gel pen.

I have used the Daffodil Doohickey and Foamiran to make the Daffodils.  Before assembling I inked the centres of the flowers with Scattered Straw Distress Ink.  I've also added some blue roses to add a pop of colour.  The fence was cut with the Lovely Fence Doohickey and the lace is from Craft Heaven.

I've used the banner Doohickey from Volume 9 and the Happy Easter sentiment is from Magnolia too.  The cute clouds were cut with a die from Doohickey Volume 4.

I hope you like it and I've inspired you to make your own Easter cards.  Pop over to the Craft Heaven blog to see some more inspiration from the Design Team.  Thanks for looking!

TOMIC #2 - Easter (& an animal or egg)

Good evening!  I am a little late with my TOMIC challenge card this month as I have been very busy behind the scenes with some Magnolia projects.  I'll tell you more about them another time, but for now I present my Easter card!  Once again I have used the gorgeous Sakura Background and Daffodil Doohickies on my project.

Did you join in Magnolia Day or buy any of the kits?  This little cutie is from one of the kits - isn't she amazing?  As always I have coloured her with Distress Inks using the no lines technique.  I've also added Stardust Stickles to her wings.  To create the Easter eggs I cut egg shaped frames with Spellbinders dies and then cut the Sakura Background cut outs to match.  I think they look so pretty!

The butterfly edge is by Joy Crafts and the leaves were cut with an older Doohickey die.

The daffodils were cut from Foamiran this time.  I have used ivory Foamiran and inked it slightly in the centre with Scattered Straw Distress Ink.

I hope you like it and I've inspired you to join us this month for the TOMIC challenge.  Pop over to the blog to see the rest of the team's gorgeous creations!

Thanks for looking.
