 I picked up a 4 pack of canvases in B&M the other day and as soon as I saw this Fairy I knew I wanted to do a canvas....I printed out the image and then tore the paper to fit my canvas....this is an 8x8 one...then I got messy adding some distress inks and embossing paste

 then I ummed and ahhhd about adding any flowers or not as I didn't want to overdo it but my fellow Canaries helped me make my decision to go ahead and add some!

I am sooooo pleased with how it has come out! I hope you like!

Panda Hug.......

My day for a wee share over on the Saturated Canary Blog....... I have used the cute Panda Hug for my card, coloured with Copics and pencil for the panda....

Ellie Awesome Sauce...

 Hellooooo my turn for an inspiration post over on the Saturated Canary Blog and today I have used Ellie Awesome Sauce.....I love her!

The scrummy papers are from MME and are called Now & Then.....24 sheets of doublesided deliciousness!!

I have also used the new Avery Elle Aim High Stamp set and the matching dies ...

I hope you like! We still have another week of holidays here in the Highlands so going to make the most of it and get a load of crafting done!

Cali Girl............

The clocks have changed so that makes it officially Spring does it not?! Then why is there fresh snow on them there hills!!
I really need some sunny weather...so my make today for the Saturated Canary Blog is all summery and sunny feeling!

 This is Cali Girl and you can find her here......she is an older image that I have had coloured in for a while now.....I have quite a few coloured images sitting that I really need to start getting onto cards!

Watercolour Wallflower...

This does look better in real life I promise!

Another card inspired by the many Youtube videos I have been watching!

I have used the shy Wallflower from LDRSs Saturated Canary range....she has been stamped with black Versafine and then embossed with some clear embossing powder then I have used Distress ink to do the watercolour effect...I also inked around the base card too..

I am wishing I had more colours to make a rainbow effect....maybe once payday comes I could treat myself!

You can make any creation you like be it card, scrap page, an altered something, smash book/journal page etc...just let your creativity go!

The prize, as always, will be 2 digital images of your choice from the shop and the rules are super simple too..

Saturated Canary Princess Zella..........

Do you ever make a card that you kinda don't want to part with?

I felt like that with this card....loved making it!

This is the beautiful Princess Zella.....look at that hair!! Oh how I would love luscious long thick hair!!

This is actually the hair colour of the card recipient.....I love it!

I used my Copics to colour...and then I have stamped various doodles around the edges.....there is a lot of sparkle Stickles too....well you gotta have some sparkle on a birthday card!

Winters Day...

 Morning! I have had a wee swap of my days over at Dies to Die For and now I am posting on a Tuesday.....I have another Christmas card using the lovely Winters Day from Little Darlings Saturated Canary Range....coloured with black and grey pencils....the gorgeous papers are from Echo Park and you can grab them here for a bargain price!  I have inked and distressed all the edges and added some flowers from my own stash....

Violet Vintage...

Image Violet Vintage from Saturated Canary

 This is one of the first images I coloured when I got my first lot of Copics.....I have now completely moved on to Copics now and am selling my Promarkers....(if anyone is after any give me a shout, I am selling them for £1 a pen).....She has been sitting on my desk for ages so I finally got her on a card last night!

It's a scorcher here today, so I am away back outside!

I have coloured her with a mixture of Pencils and Promarkers, I also made a bookmark but my stoopid camera wouldn't load the pics and now it has been given to Lucy's pal for her birthday.

Wallflower with no lines............

 

Been a wee bitty quite the last few days, I have had a bad eczema breakout, going to the docs on Tuesday to see if there is anything new that I could try :( 

I had a lovely wee parcel arrive in the post which cheered me up from Krista.....Saturated Canary Rubbah!! and lots of other goodies.....Mwah!

I thought I would have another bash at the no lines technique...the only thing I am unhappy with is the eyes...think I should have used a paler colour instead of the black...but apart from that I am pretty chuffed with how it has come out!

 off to pour myself a wee glass of rose and settle down before Doctor Who starts!

Saturated Canary #24

Woop Woop! time for Challenge Number 24  at Saturated Canary Challenges and this fortnight Denise has chosen a photo to provide some inspiration!

The usual rules apply you must use either a Saturated Canary Digi Stamp OR a Simply Sassy Rubber Stamp or the brand new Little Darlings Saturated Canary Rubber Stamps

I have used "Springtime" and coloured her with  my Promarkers...some doodling on the paper and some of this gorgeous ribbon which I have been holding onto for ages as I only had a wee bit of it and I love it so much!

Today is also my 15th wedding anniversary....going to have a lovely glass of wine and we are going out for dinner tomorrow!

Sweet 16.....

I have used the lovely Honey for this card...coloured again with my Promarkers, but I didn't keep a note of the colours sorry...this lovely double sided paper is from My Minds Eye...I bought 2 sheets of it as its so gorgeous!

The flowers are from bunches I bought in the Pound shop and took apart and now I just colour them to match my cards!

We are just going to have a lazy day today...Lucy is shattered after her triathlon yesterday....(see the post below)....and I have some cards to get done......

Designed to Color.......

I have just realised that I never actually posted this card here!!

I was over the moon when Carisa asked me to send her a card to feature in the very first issue of Designed to Color........I have used the gorgeous Alice from Saturated Canary, coloured with my Promarkers. The paper is from Raspberry Road Designs Glory Days collection.

Keep your eyes peeled as the next issue is out in a couple of days!!

I would also like to apologise for my lack of posting.....I promise to sort it out!! I have my 40th in a couple of weeks, I wasn't going to bother doing anything as I just wasn't fussed and my dear old Dad would have been 70 today too, but then I thought no I am going to hit 40 with a bang so I have been busy planning a wee party, nothing big just a few friends and family round at the house!  So I have been spending ages on pinterest looking for ideas!! Hence my lack of blogging!lol

Have you Smashed yet?

I have only just recently come across the Smashing phenomenon and have been admiring some gorgeous pages on the Smash*aholics Facebook page....So yesterday while in town with my girlies I bought a sketchbook from WH Smiths....I sat staring at for ages, not a clue where to start...I was never really into scrapbooking, so I decided to stick to what I know best and that is my stamps...more to the point Saturated Canary and Simply Sassys. So that is what I am going to theme this book on.

I have chosen these two as they are the crafter style stamps to start of my book with.....I have loads of ideas now in my head but I have a few card orders to get out of the way first before I can play!

I have used my Promarkers to colour Kate Krafty...just the Cool Greys and for Copica I have just added a few dots to the background.  I have doodled the bunting myself and coloured again with my Cool Greys

Paper,Paper..SC Duck Duck Goose....

Another sheet of paper used! I have used one of Krista's lovely new images for this card "Duck,Duck,Goose" coloured with my Promarkers as usual...and a wee bit of gold pencil for the egg.....I have left the card pretty simple...just some doodling around the edges.

This is the next sheet pulled from the box!
