Altered frame........

This is what I have created with my Simply Create DT kit this month.........the frame I have painted with acrylic paint and then distressed with Walnut Stain....these gorgeous papers are Cratepaper...Neighbourhood collection..... I added Bella Bunting (which wasn't part of the kit) and cut out some bunting and tied with some string ....I used the tulle to make a big bow and also ran some through my big shot with Tims tattered foral die.....you can't see it very well in the pic...I think I might add some more to make it stand out a bit better.

I am not ignoring everyone!

I don't know if it is just me....but I have been having problems leaving comments for the last few days....please don't think I am being rude...it's driving me mad!! Lets hope blogger sorts it out soon!

Edited to add....it seems to be working if I uncheck the keep me signed in box on the login page???

I want to hide under my duvet!!!

OH this weather is horrible!! I have just been blown home from work...I come over that bridge in the pic and at one point I had to stop and hold on!!! really don't want to go back out to collect poor Jude....I don't have the car today so we are gonna have to walk!!

View out the front window...that poor wee tree is not looking good...I don't know if it will make it!!I will be hiding in my cupboard tonight I really don't like the wind...the house is making all sorts of weird noises!

Steampunk I think??

This is quite spooky....I was in the middle of uploading the pics for this post and I discovered that I have won my first ever Sugar Bowl Challenge!! And the prize is Steampunk goodies!!!

I was stumped a bit at first with this card....I knew I wanted to try this steampunk style...after receiving my new Sassys.. but wasn't completely sure what it was...so after googling steampunk images I figured as long as it looks a bit old and has cogs and bits and bobs then that would be it..... am I right? or completely wrong!?

Please give me any tips or advice!!

I have coloured Amelia with my pencils...first time trying the black and white.

As it is my blogs 2nd Birthday (where has the time gone!) and I haven't managed to get round to organising some candy, I thought I would give you all a giggle...........

This is my very first ever card, made way back in 2004 when I was about 8 months pregnant with Jude.....Naff eh!!  I am amazed at how much I have improved and that is thanks to all you guys out there with your incredible blogs providing so much inspiration!

This is the one I was most pleased with...Judes birth announcements....I didn't come up with the design, it was in a cardmaking book that I don't have anymore.  Took ages punching out all those flowers...and I was heavily preggers at the time...I think at one point I was actually standing on the punch as my hand was aching!! Tut tut!!

Bella Bunting for the Sugar Bowl......

I have escaped to my cupboard...can't stand any more Eurovision!lol  This is my entry for the Sugar Bowl...a lovely sketch and an extra theme of vintage/distressed.

I used my pencils to colour Bella Bunting...isn't she cute?  I have also just treated myself to set 7 of the Simply Sassys...you still have time to do the blog hop, there are some fab cards to see!

Distressed all the papers and tried to go for a neutral theme.

Another card using the Gorjuss decoupage...really must sit and make a few of these, they are so quick and easy!...in fact I am away now!!

Rapunzel, Rapunzel.....

Just finished this card last night and as luck would have it the challenge on the Sugar Nellie Facebook page is THINK PINK!! So it would be rude not to enter!

This spotty pink paper is from BoBunny and I have used my new Nesties to cut out the lovely Rapunzel...ain't she gorgeous!? Both sentiments have been printed on the computer.

A card at last....

Some new card orders have pulled me back into the cupboard!  It was a bit wet yesterday so I didn't mind too much!  Cheated a wee bit and used one of my Lili Of the Valley Cute Squares which are already coloured!  The paper is from my scrap box and I can't remember the make.

Way too nice for cardmaking!

Sorry but it is way too hot here to be sitting in my wee cupboard..so I have no cards to share with you...but I will bore you all with some pics from our walk this afternoon.

We had to drag the girls right enough!lol but once we were there they enjoyed themselves.  We went 5 mins up the road to Nevis Range where there are some lovely forest trails.

They have not long finished a high wire assault course...looks fab but not for me...don't like heights!

We managed to find the one cloud in the sky!!

Stopped for an ice cream and a coffee and watched the gondolas for a while

The view of Aonach Mor......someone said the little patch of snow looks like Snoopy...can you see it!! I had to draw it out when we went home but Lucy still didn't see it!
