WOYWW #77!

Well it's been a few weeks since I joined in the fun with Julia over on  WOYWW and for those who remember me and my neatness lol,  you are in for a treat today.....I have lapsed....as a result of trying to finish too many things at the same time! But do not fear I will be off to tidy it up as soon as I have finished this post!

I don't even know where to start!....on the middle of my desk are the desk calendars I am making for the girls teachers...there is one finished on my previous post if you want a nosey.  The rest is all bits and pieces of Christmas cards finished and ones still in production!

It is bitterly cold here in Fort William...I think the snow is on its way!! I am off for a nice cup of coffee before I head to work!

How is this for a Gift?

Well its that time of year again and I have come up with an idea for the girls teachers gifts...last year I made some Christmas baubles......this year I wanted to do something different but that wouldn't take a lot of time as I am seriously short of it just now!!

So I found these little frames in Ikea ...3 in a pack...and came up with this....

I painted the frame with white paint and then used Walnut Stain to distress it all over...then using some scraps covered the front and distressed some more!  I used my Timmie flower die and some little flowers and skeleton leaves to embellish the corner.

Do you think it is an okay thing to give??

Any Teachers out there would this be something that you would like for your desk? Or should I just make Baubles again?

Better get a move on!

Just checked my Christmas card box and I still need to make another 30 cards...so better get my bum shifted and stop playing about with my new stamps!!   But I just couldn't resist them!!

Its very stormy here today in the Fort...all sorts of things blowing past the window...I really don't want to go out!

Last Orders.................

Well here is one of the cards I have been struggling with the last few days! The batteries went on the camera so I didn't get a pic of the other one as I had to deliver them this morning.

This is the last of my orders now til after Christmas...I got far too stressed this time last year with all the orders I got for cards and I would like a peaceful time this year so I have decided to close the cupboard door to orders!  I don't seem to have had much time just to mess about in my cupboard (does that make any sense!) so looking forward to just having a play and colouring some of my new stamps!

Remember the lovely Snowflake Hanger from a few posts ago? Kath has just put on a tutorial on how to make it.....pop over and have a look!

Two Wedding cards.........

Couple of wedding card orders that I finished the other week...just been to busy to post them up! There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day just now!

I am away now to get these boy cards finished!!

I am banging my head against the wall!

I have two cards to make for a 16 year old BOY!! and my mojo has left the cupboard AAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!

I had a blast!!

Well I have made it back from the East Coast in one piece!lol

I had an absolutely brilliant time over at Simply Create in Alford at Kaths workshop....I was a little nervous as I have never been to any classes before....but Kath and Anne made me feel so welcome when I arrived with some big hugs and a lovely cup of tea! I met loads of lovely crafters and was so pleased to meet some of my Teamies from the Simply Create DT....waving to you Sonja and Judy and the "boss" Jacqui...(I can now make the perfect bow..thanks Judy!). Carol and Kirsti couldn't make it but I will catch up with you two next time, cos I will definately be back for more!!

I am sooo looking forward to heading over to Alford to Simply Create for Kath's workshop on Saturday!  I have never ever been to a class before!!!  We are heading of tomorrow as soon as the girls come out of school and are going to make a weekend of it...staying at sister in laws in Tarland and we are going to take the girls to a big firework display in Banchory on the Saturday night.
