WOYWDW..............................................

NOTHING.......cos I am still blooming painting!!lol ARGH I hate it but it needs to be done...we haven't done the hall since we moved in and that will be 13 years in May,... 2 kids later and there are grubby marks all over the walls lol! Plus when we converted our large bedroom into two so the girls could get their own rooms there were a lot of bangs and scrapes to the walls so we decided to bite the bullet and do it seeing as we are both off during the hols! Anyway enough boring talk..............

My desk............the scrap of butterfly paper is the last little piece I have after making my last card (see the previous post if you want a look!) so I went on a hunt on the computer last night to find some more(no shops near me I am afraid, two and a half hour drive to my nearest one in Glasgow!).....eventually found one website but they were out of stock!....si I thought to myself lets just have a wee look at their papers and ended up ordering loads!.......think I might have developed a serious addiction to paper.....I just couldn't stop adding to my basket!lol

The measuring tape is out cos I am measuring my wee cupboard up for a major refit.................the ikea catalogue is sitting on my chair which I had to move out of the cupboard to take the pic!

Seeing as I have no cards on my desk thought I would bore you with some of my storage...this is where I keep all my promarkers....I have put little stickers on the ends and then coloured them.

This is where I store all my flowers, buttons and brads .........takeaway containers.!..I have still to make some nice labels to put on them

I am being naughty and snuck away from glossing the woodwork in the hall to post this card......if I am quick Hubby won't notice( he is doing upstairs!) This is my last piece of this yummy paper from Sandylion...need to go on a search for more!

The black spotty paper is the bit that covers the choccies in a choccie box! Stickles all over too!

Uh-Oh I hear him coming...better dash!!lol

This is the card I came up with today while messing about in my cupboard.......I have the Ikea catalogue out and have been measuring up for a major refit! I love this digistamp from Sugar Nellie just perfect for boys cards! I don't have one of those fancy border punches (it is on my very long wishlist!)so I have just ripped a page out of my notebook lol!

Here are the girls eggs that they made for rolling at school the other day(I promised them I would put a pic on my blog!).......Lucy's is the chick and Judes is the mouse......................Jude was a wee bit disappointed that nobody in her class voted for her egg :(

Ketto ................

This is another of my cards from this morning..........this is one of the lovely Ketto stamps that was in my candy win! I have used my Promarkers to colour her and I have gone around the edge of the circle and then used the blender pen to soften the edges....I need to find some more of this paper as I only have enough to make one more card :0(

That is all my card orders done for now so tomorrow I am gonna have a play in my cubby and do something I want!

What's on my desk Wednesday?

Well here is my desk this morning.....got the card finished and took it into work today. I have actually managed to keep it tidy over the last week! lol I am sure it won't last much longer!

There are a couple of images sitting at the top that I am gonna colour in tonight.

I have been sorting out my cupboard and trying to find better storage solutions...I also need to paint it too...just not sure what colour!

A little yellow van.....................

This is the card I was asked to make for someone at work who is leaving at the end of the week....she had a little yellow work van so they wanted that on the card! I managed to find a pic on the Internet and I coloured it with a gold Promarker!

Is anyone else having problems with comments?......it says I have a comment to moderate but when I click on it it says there are no unmoderated comments!?

Whats on your Workdesk Wednesday............

This is the state of my desk tonight...thought it was about time I put it onto WOYWDW as I am always having a nose at other peoples desks! Now I have published it I will be shamed into tidying it up!!lolI am working on a card just now for a work colleague who is leaving and she drives a yellow work van so they want to incorporate that into the card! I have found a pic online and I am gonna colour it with my Promarkers. The list on the left is the one my Mum has given me of all the cards she needs for the rest of the year....and there are loads of bits and bobs that need to be cleared away! Saving my pennies just now for a trip to Ikea to sort out my little cubby and make it more organised!!

When we got back from school this afternoon we discovered that Judes hamster Lola had died...she was inconsolable......the poor wee thing was actually a boy hamster that Santa brought and Jude got so upset that Santa didn't bring her a girl hamster...so he ended up being named Lola! We buried him in the same spot as Felix (Lucy's hamster who died last week) so Jude is happy that they are together again.

Firstly Lucy would like to thank all you lovely ladies who left a comment about Felix...she is feeling a bit better today...she took a picture of him into school and the teacher let her show her classmates and then they had a little silent moment for him which I thought was really sweet!

This fab digistamp is from Bugaboo Stamps....go check out their website there are loads of great images!.....I have doodled the DS....(I checked it was okay to do so first)... as the card is for someone who was getting one for their birthday. The paper is a double-sided one from Three Bugs in a Rug and I have coloured the image with my promarkers...cut some flowers from the paper and added some sparkle....and printed the sentiment from the computer.

Some cards and sad news for Lucy

I have been a really bad blogger of late................I will try to be better and leave some comments on all you lovely ladies blogs...I just don't know where the time is going lately! I had these couple of cards to make the other day for one of my workmates. The top image is from Digistamp Boutique and the second one is a freebie stamp I have had for ages! My Mum has given me a list of all the cards she needs for the rest of the year so I am going to make a start on them tomorrow...should keep me locked in my cubby for at least a week!

On a sad note......Lucy's little hamster Felix passed away this morning, he was very old and just went in his sleep, she was so upset Jude was too I felt so awful for them both.....we buried him under the eucalyptus tree and we found a nice rock for her to write his name on.

Excellent Weekend.......not for my purse tho!!

Well what a fab weekend I had........loads of goodies that I now have to find room for in my little cubby...........I feel a major tidy up and reorganising is needed now...saw some good storage ideas when we were in Ikea!

On another note.............

And Jude has finally lost her first tooth!...........it has been hanging on for the last few days and she was very concerned that we were going away for the weekend and what happened if it came out when we weren't there...but Granny assured her that she would keep it safe for her but it was still there when we got back...but she came running out of school today delighted that it had fallen out at gym! She is raring to get to bed now to put it under her pillow!

......AND look what was in the car when we got back to it after school!.....this is the first ladybird we have seen in years....I don't even think Jude has ever seen one! Lucy made a ladybird box the last time we went to Centre Parcs and it has been sitting in her bedroom for ages so we took it out to the garden and the wee thing crawled right in!!

Hopefully will be back soon with some cards!

SECC........

No cards from me for the next couple of days...I am off to Glasgow for the weekend and am heading to the SECC on Sunday to the craft show...can't wait to spend my pennies!!

Sugar Nellie Digi Image

This card is made with one of the new Sugar Nellie Digi images from Funky Kits...Puppy Dog Tails......now I was just playing with my Promarkers colouring in so I didn't keep a note of what colours I was using...but I like the way it came out so had to make a card with it.
The paper is a scrap I have had for ages ...can't remember the make! The edges have all been distressed and I have used some of that raffia string and some staples and buttons. I have also used some Glossy Accents for the wee froggys eyes but it hasn't shown up to well in the photo.

Here is a close up of the cheeky chap!

Passion for Promarkers # 40

Here is my entry for #40 over at Passion for Promarkers...which is to use Tulip Yellow and Baby Pink with the added extra of using stitching real or faux. Now I am not happy with this card at all....I love the image and I am pleased with my colouring...I just couldn't find any patterned paper to match so have ended up leaving quite plain.

My stitching is fake as I don't own a machine...would be useless if I did have one...I was never any good at sewing.........you should see the mess I have made of sewing Lucys Brownie badges on her sash!
