Whoop!

I am so Happy with my advance copies of 'Say Hello' and Kiss Goodnight'
The production is top quality! They have lovely squiggly covers and beautiful matt inside spreads, which capture my hand printed background perfectly. Fantastic design by Genevieve Webster. Let's hope they do well!
Out in the shops in July. Published by Templar publishing.

That poor out numbered Old Woman!

Here's my slightly auto-biographical version of 'There was an Old Woman who Lived in Shoe' published by Holiday House in NYC.
Really it's a tale of all parents and the constant needs of our little ones and their unconditional love.
I've updated it from the horrid original!
This Mum is super resourceful and fun.
Working on a book with 14 children/animals on each spread was a challenge for continuity.
It is painted in acrylic with a little collage.
It can be purchased in my shop now.

A NEW POST

Sorry my dear blog, I have abandoned you of late!

For my creative updates it's best to follow me on Instagram or on my Facebook page.

Anyhow... My latest book is in the shops very soon in the USA. (Published by Holiday House.)
WARNING! IT CONTAINS A NAKED SHEEP!
It's a modern fun twist on the traditional rhyme. All about knitting and giving. I really enjoyed working on this.

A lovely review in Kirkus review here.

Another in the School Library Journal, “While toddlers can enjoy the song and illustrations in Baa, Baa, Black Sheep, preschool audiences may have a greater appreciation for the book’s humor and literary references, making it a great storytime selection.”
