She Said Yes!

Hello everyone, I am briefly back! I know I've been away for a while; long story short: working through college, slowly recovering from my disability, and most importantly, romancing my beautiful now-fiance Jamie. We recently got engaged last week! Sorry I never posted that I would be gone for a while, eventually, it became so long that I just didn't know what to say about it. 

If you follow Jamie's blog, you'd know that we have been in a long-distance relationship for a couple years now. I finally asked her to marry me, and we're finally engaged! I love her so very much and I am so happy that we are planning a future together. It has been an amazing ride and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her. Right now she's in town for another week and we're watching lots of movies and hanging out.

Hopefully at some point I can use my newly developed web designing skills to renovate and update this blog with a new custom template. For now I'll leave it as is and hopefully one day I can come back and try writing again about my passion for the cinema. Thank you everyone for reading this update and I'll see you in future.

Blog Meets Real World

At this very moment, I am writing this post while sitting beside my very best friend. We are both looking back and forth at each other write essentially the same type of opening for the post. Typically, this blog is only meant for fandom and movie writings, but today is a special one. Today, my best friend, Jamie, from the blog Through Two Blue Eyes, is sitting keyboard to keyboard with me on the couch at this very second. We are both writing a post about us finally meeting for the first time. After traveling thousands of miles, she is here in my home state, aka an undisclosed location that you will never find. But yep, SHE'S HERE! Worlds collide! The blogging world has turned into the real world. We have watched various movies together, most notably, Captain America: Civil War (which was amazing!). We are about to watch Star Wars: Despecialized Edition, which, if you do not know, is a fan restored version of Star Wars in full HD as it was intended to be seen without all of the awful CGI and "NOOOOOOOOOO's." It has been an incredible week and a half, which is why blogging has slowed. It has been great to finally meet her in person after knowing her for five years! It has been the best. Writing about myself is really not my forte, so if you want details about us, you can click here to read her post. Well, enough about us I suppose. Thanks everyone for reading and commenting on the blog! But expect reviews for Captain America: Civil War, Alice Through the Looking Glass, and other movie stuff in the future.

New Followers Page.

Today I have added a new page for all the followers' blog buttons. If your button does not appear on the list please comment below or on the page and I will add it. Since many of the button on my side-bar are outdated, it seemed like the right time to update everything. Also I have finally figured out how to turn on comments for pages, now you can comment on my of my pages on the bar above.

 

There are two new blogs that I have recently discovered that I would like to highlight today, first being Rath's Reviews by Jordan. He reviews many recently release films with a rating system very similar to my own, and there is a link to his blog on the side-bar to the right or or Click here to read his blog.. I highly recommend you check it out.

 

Cupcakes to Lightsabers by The Sith Photographer is a self proclaimed nerd girl, who writes many humorous posts that I just cannot get enough of. Click here to check it out, epsecially if you are a Star Wars fan or nerd yourself and tell her James sent you.

Blog Update and Hatfields and McCoys Tomorrow.

And I am not sure what to post Saturday since it seems that very few people actually read blogs on Saturday or Sunday. I am not sure if that is because what I post on those days or that people just do not blog much during that time. I actually have the most time to blog on the weekend, so if you know why please comment.

Tomorrow is the season premire of the Hatfields and McCoys mini series. The cast includes Oscar Winng actor Kevin Costner and another great Bill Paxton. This trailer is getting me excited to watch it but from the trailer I would not recommend this to the younger audience. If the series is enough, I might review the series.

Avengers Review and What is to Come.

There really was not much activity on The Avengers review so if you have not read my review please Click here to read my review of The Avengers and tell me what you thought of the movie. But thank you if you were one of the Bloggers who did comment yesterday.

Also this is very important if you plan to go see The Avengers, stay after the credits! There are two after credit scenes, one after the first set of credits and another after the very end of the movie. So be sure to stay until the very end. Also tomorrow I will answer the questions that were asked by you during the interview post. At some point I will post some spoiler filled posts about The Avengers but I do not know how many of you have seen the movie.
