Piano Recital (June 18th)

Our kids take piano lessons from their Aunt McKell. She is awesome, and patient with both the kids and I. Me because I am not the best yet at making them practice. Suprisingly they still do pretty well. On this day they did great! I was so proud of them. Jo didn't participate in the recital, but McKell still lets her practice with her at lessons. She really is so sweet. We couldn't ask for a better aunt or piano teacher!

Work Trip (June 5th)

John's work gets together every year and goes to flaming gorge for a longer 3 day weekend. That's for anyone who isn't working, (the U is always fully anesthesia staffed)! Any whoo. I was nervous to take my kids among all these DINK's(Double Income No Kids), but they were all so nice. Their were other kids there, but not as poorly mannered as ours. I was just waiting for something to slip out of their mouths, that i wanted take and put right back in, but they all did pretty well. Even Noah when he went down the Green River with John's big boss. Dr. K and his wife(DINK). She said, "He did pretty well, and even managed to stay in the boat the whole time. He did fight me on sunscreen though!"

It was a little nerve racking for me, but they all seemed to take it in stride and got a great kick our of our family tent. They called it "the hotel on the hill."

Last Day of School!

And school is going, going gone...

To be honest summer freaks me out. It's HOT and the kids are inside ALL day! It is enough to drive one crazy, but we will try to make it fun!!! One can always try! (now that i am posting these and summer is almost over, I think I have done a pretty good job at fun this summer, and looking back I can even say, it has flown by.)

Baseball 2011

He actually was a pretty good hitter, Although he DID NOT LIKE it when he got out. Also he really wasn't up for playing out field. Kind of boring! He would literally volunteer to sit out!
Noah wanted to try baseball again this year. We had our up's and down's cut out for us. His coach was a kid I have literally known all my life. He is a great guy, played on our high school team. So, talented, yet, I think he was still quite unprepared for our, shall we say, dramatic-star-status seeking son.

Noah may never be a pro-baseball player, but he may be the perfect MODEL of one for a magazine or something! Dang he is cute!

This is my brother's son Porter. Brian, my brother, was his coach. How we did not get on his team is beyond me. 3 kids from our ward were on his team. It was to bad...they never even played each other, the game got rained out. Oh well, maybe it was for the better!

Pre-school Grad 2011 May 26th!

Dk said, "GOOD-BYE" to Mrs. Bridgette's preschool. I can't believe the year is over! He literally loved being there. She was such a caring and great teacher!
EndBeginning
Doesn't he just look so grown up! He is growing way to fast!
She will be here this fall! I can't believe it!
DK loved the kids he went to school with. And the girls literally LOVED him back! Can you blame em? He is one handsome dude!

Soccer 2010-1011

Here is a BIG shout out to my parent who try to make it to EVERY game! They are amazing!
Mostly she just hustled to where the ball was, but didn't care about it much after she got there.
The best part of the game...the treat!
Noah really got into his groove by the end of the year. I am sure he will be playing again next year. Micah not so much! She got the first goal for her team of the season at the first game. John and I thought, "hey, she might like/be good at this." UMmmm...not so much it went down hill from their. But DK will be taking her place this coming fall. Not on her team, but, well you get the picture!

Easter 2011- April 23!
