Festival of Trees

I got the awesome priviledge to accompany my handsome 3rd grader to the festival of trees. The third graders at Noah's school was sponsoring one of their own. Aumberlee Davis has lukemia. I can't even fathom what it would be like to have my 3rd grader have Lukemia. She is a fighter though, and doing well right now.
This is the tree that was dontated. She was asked what theme to give it, and she said, "pink and puppies." I believe people from the school ended up buying it and giving it to her family.

All the money earned from the festival of trees goes to Primary Children's Hospital. I had never been before, and after I saw the awesomeness of it, I called John and said "someday" we are buying a tree here. There are some really amazing ones.

They also do gingerbread houses. I overheard someone say thid sold for $175. Wow. Go UTES!
The third grade learned lots of Christmas songs and permormed at the festival. It was pretty entertaining, and I was quite impressed at how well Noah new the lyrics and how into the actions he got. It was so fun to be with him on this day.

BTW the boys in my group did not enjoy looking at all the trees as much as I did. They said, "this is worse then shopping!"
