The Coolest Sister Award!

If you don't already know my family pretty well, then meet my lil' sister Marzzieh! She's tall, beautiful, and quite a sass sometimes, but this week I'll definitely have to add "coolest" to my list of descriptive words. I know I'm posting this about two weeks late, but my dear sister decided to prove to everyone, who ever said she was the biggest "scardy cat in the world", wrong! She and a couple friends decided it would top off their summer by jumping out of an airplane! They went skydiving in Ogden and here is the picture as she just touched down. (The picture is sort of dark, but she is on the ground and the man looking person is the tandum rider that went with her) At first we couldn't tell which skydiver she was, until we heard her screaming and cussing up a storm! She's nuts but she rocked the skin tight jump suit they had to wear, and most of all I'm way proud of her for doing it!

My cousin's BIG DAY!

This past weekend my cousin Shayesteh married Danyal! The wedding "weekend" started on Thursday with a dinner with both families, and this isn't just a normal, his parents meet her parents, with Persian weddings you invite his ENTIRE family to meet her ENTIRE family. Needless to say I was there and the food was amazing! The best part of this Persian get together was that ended with dancing! No typical American dancing, mind you. I don't know how to describe it but it was way fun, less hips, more shimmy. On Friday we had a more quiet night by having dinner with all of our side of the family eating at the Grand Hotel's Restaurant. It was fun because all of my cousins (or family friends that are close enough that we call them all cousins) were there and all of us that were around the same age sat at the same table and it was like old times, sitting at the "kids table"! Saturday was the Wedding Day! It began with getting ready and then heading over to the Grand Hotel to help Shayesteh get ready and make sure everything was running smooth. My jobs consisted of handing out the flowers to each family member, instructing the little flower girls when to begin walking up the isle, and getting Shayesteh's goregeous dress over her head without messing up her hairstyle. They had a persian ceremony and it was incredible to see the amazing culture that Islam has. Then we ate dinner and then danced until 2:00 A.M. Congrats Shayesteh and Danyal! Thanks for the fun wedding party!

Smile! Marzzieh and I at the wedding! By the way Marzzieh looked incredible, even though she didn't quite get the whole Persian dancing concept :)

HE STILL LOVES ME

It's true! After celebrating being married for a WHOLE year, Kenny still says he loves me!
We were married May 9, 2008 and it's been such a great year for both of us! Kenny is HANDS DOWN my best friend! I doubt you'll ever find a more patient, kind, and gentlemen like guy in the wide, wide world! We've been on some crazy adventures, but at the end of the day there is no one I'd rather wake up next to! I love you Kenny, thanks for being my #1 fan!
For our 1 year Honeymoon (Anniversary) we wished our Mother's a Happy Mother's Day and headed out for the weekend to Yellowstone! We stayed in West Yellowstone and it was such a blast; jumping out of the car everytime we saw a different critter, staying in a nice condo, taking pictures for total strangers, and enjoying some time just us! Here are some pictures of our fun weekend!

Vini! Vidi! Vici!

Yup! It's official! Today was Graduation Day! Holy Cow, my four years here at Utah State have flown by! It's been such an amazing ride; I've been blessed to have a scholarship, to work as an ambassador, to do a semester in New York, to learn a greater love for for all of the neat people you can meet in your life, and now to finally graduate! Well here's my chance to tell all of my family and friends 'Thank-you' for all of the love and support throughout my college experience! Here's some pictures from the day...

P.S. And I DID become a True Aggie, before it was too late!

Last weekend we were able to shoot clay pigeons with a bunch of our friends! It was a blast because I was actually hitting them and not just wasting bullets (or shells)...So here is proof that I'm a true blue sharp shooter and I'm 'gun safe' (thank-you hunters safety)

First Time for Everything!

Well hello!

I don't know why I avoided the blogging world for so long, I just figured my life wasn't too exciting to blog about. But with graduation around the corner, new jobs for both Kenny and I starting, and beginning to enjoy the summer up here in Cache Valley, I thought 'What the heck, I might as well!' So here I am, attempting to figure out how everyone else got their cute templates, discovering what a gadget is, and keeping everyone up on the mere excitements of our lives! Enjoy!
