My cousin, Rodel, went home from the US for a vacation - this time, married with his wife, Irene and son, Rinel.
We had dinner at Kabisera at Bonifacio High Street.
Another night of eating - the family's favorite past time.

Make Your Papa Proud
is the theme for our Father's Day Cooking Challenge.
This is the third cooking challenge of the Reantasos. First was the market basket among Orland, Ojay, Omar and Papa. Second was the ribs challenge of Orland, Ojay, and Omar with Kuya Olejoe. This third challenge was the funniest of all - because the contenders are the daughters-in-law who knew nothing about cooking.
We have to prepare pasta and fried chicken. We will have to bring our own ingredients. Husbands can help, but no coaching.
I came in earliest and Omar and I chose to cook at the back of the house - mas malamig.
But we will have to use uling in cooking our dish - from the noodles to the sauce to frying the chicken. Ang galing ni Omar, I even have low and high fire. Ang init nga lang, kita naman sa pawis ko sa picture. I prepared seafood pesto and fried chicken.
My other sisters--in-law came made-up. Di ko naisip mag-make up, for sure marami nga pa lang picture taking. Oh well, sayang din ang make-up kung tagaktak din pawis ko.
Mama even prepared pins for us.
Yang got the best pasta. I got the best chicken. Carla got the over-all champion. Everybody's a winner. Mama gave an heirloom bracelet for a prize and Php 500.00 consolation prize.
Winning was not my aim. Maluto lang ng maayos ang dish ko para di mapahiya sa mga in-laws ko hehe. But we had so much fun! It made us realize how blessed we were to be married with the Reantasos.

Early training
Winter's been exposed to computer at a very early age.
I'm a self-confessed addict when it comes to farm town with face book. So I breastfeed while I play with my computer.
And look at my baby exposed at the computer too early. He loves my laptop. Actually, naayos nga nya ang settings ng laptop ko e. Buti na lang.

18th
We are now on our 18th year, thank God for that!
We had our Thanksgiving mass, celebrated by Mons Flint with the RCM sisters. 18years ago, we were too young. I can still remember reading the readings during the mass for the blessing of the resort. And now, I just sit and watch my nephews and niece do the readings. Next thing I know, it'll be my kids' turn.
Daddy said his piece thanking everybody for the great help they gave us for the last months and years.
Mommy acknowledged Ka Nene, our cook, who is now retiring after 18years.
We had the family cottage blessed too. It's a big bahay kubo in the middle of the fish pond. It's a great venue - only too small for Winter's birthday.
Thank you po!

Loots from Cali
Got my loots from Ate and Jenny!
Board shorts for Winter, supposedly for our Batanes trip pero di umabot.Camp rock lunch bag from Tita Ganda and Leapster cartridge from Ninang Jenny.
And a gift watch from Jenny.

Dental Check-up
I brought Summer at the dental clinic here at Malolos before school starts next week.
Summer loves brushing her teeth because she just loves tooth paste. Kaya lang she has 2 teeth which needs pasta kasi may cavities na, tsk tsk tsk. But they cannot do the job since they are not dentists for kids so I still have to bring her to a pediatric dentist para di matrauma.
Haaayyyy.

Daddy's new toys.
Sadly, Daddy wasn't here when Rafvon passed away. Now that Sheila is all alone, Daddy gave her company.
Daddy bought 2 labrador puppies - a boy and a girl, named Rambo and Rocky. They are such playful dogs. And just like Rafvon and Sheila, the girl is more playful than the boy. Nice to play with now that they're still puppies, wait till they grow big. Not that I'm not fond of dogs, I'm just scared of them. And no, I was never bitten by them too.
