Friday Sketchers # 107

Another great sketch over at Friday Sketchers this week and I'm only just making it too! My papers are MME Bloom & Grow, flowers are from my stash, the image is from Dreams 2 Stamp and is called Annelise with goose it is one that I won last October. The swirl at the bottom is actually what was left after I had used a sizzix die on another project and I really liked what was left so decided to keep it in the hope that I would find a use for it one day and hey presto! I did!lol, actually all the pieces of paper are actually scraps from that collection. And amazingly for me my desk is still tidy! lol TFL x

Friday Sketchers # 104

Well 1 card 1 challenge, dont that too often these days. I really liked the sketch this week over at Friday Sketchers (which I rotated!) but just couldn't decide on what image and in the end I chose a stamp that I have had in my collection for quite sometime, it was part of a set but I can't remember who it is by, anyway I stamped and embossed it with copper powder and then filled in the rest of the wings with glamour dust so it is quite sparkly which doesn't really show in the picture, the sentiment is part of a papermania botanicals set of the peacock butterfly. The papers are all from a digi kit called Summer Berries by Staceys Scraps, as is the stitched border. I did try adding some more embellishments but they just weren't working so I ended up leaving quite simple. TFL

Dotties World - Flowers & Friday Sketchers #101

2 challenges completed with this card. Dotties World is asking for flowers and a Charmed download so I have used a pre coloured Madison on Safari from the Round the World collection, papers are Basic Grey Sugared, flowers from my stash, a bit of card candy! and the leaves were cut with a punch and then I used 2 different green ink pads and stamped over them to give them some definition. The card is then based around the sketch this week over at Friday Sketchers who are celebrating their 2nd anniversary with a fabby blog hop so go check that out too. TFL

Friday Sketchers # 100

As soon as I saw the sketch over at Friday Sketchers this week I knew which image I wanted to use so decided to combine it with the challenge over at Copic Colour Challenge but due to a hectic work schedule this week never got it finished in time so only for 1 challenge! Paper is Me & My Big Ideas, cs is coredinations and the image is one that Sammi sent me so unfortunately I dont know whose image but she is coloured with copics and is for my friend over the road (her birthday is next month!) she is a gardener and she is tall and slim so this fitted perfectly, down to the purple crocs! I apologize for not popping round to visit you all recently but hope to rectify that over the next couple of days when I've caught up on some sleep and a little bit of housework!

Friday Sketchers # 99

For the sketch this week over at Friday Sketchers I have used an Anya stamp from the Sun,Rain & shine set and its the first time I've inked her up, she is of course coloured with copics with the addition of some sakura glaze for sunglasses and flipflops, papers are from Me & My Big Ideas, prima e line flowers and some card candy, the sentiment stamp is a Daisy & Dandelion. A 3 in 1 card

Time to catch up with a few challenges so here goes: this card is for My Time To Craft - New Baby, Papertake Weekly - Open theme and Friday Sketchers #96 The papers are all from a digi kit by Raspberry Road Designs called Vintage Doll, I inked the edges of all the different pieces, the organza ribbon is from my stash the 'baby' stickers are by Pebbles Ink and I have had them for years and its the first time I've used any of them! and the gold metal pram topper is by Impex again had it for years, had 2 gold and 2 silver and this is the last one. Cant believe I've used 5 different pieces of patterned paper! lol I used to struggle (and still do sometimes) to use 2 let alone 5! lol

3 challenges in 1card

Tonights card is for the Bling challenge over at Anya Ink, I have used dressy Joyce digi from TGF, coloured with copics and I have used sakura stardust in her hair, for her shoes, eyeshadow and little heart on the dress I have then used ultra fine glitter of 2 colours for the frills on her dress, my circle has glitter on it and doodling using the sakura stardust pen, I have used a sparkly brad and gem from the papermania Heather capsule collection so I think I got some bling on there somewhere! lol the card is based on this weeks sketch at Friday Sketchers - #95 and the challenge at Stamp Something was to do some doodling - this is never a strong point for me but I have used some around the edge of the scalloped circle. The sentiments and corner stars are from a small freebie set of Forever Friends which was on the front of the Creativity magazine. TFL

Friday Sketchers # 94

Only just made it this week for the challenge over at Friday Sketchers. Not overly happy with this card, tried a new pansy stamp from Papermania Botanical range, really like the stamp and coloured it with copics but dont seem to have got my blending quite right, definately need more practice! (oh and more copic! lol) the papers and vellum are all odds and ends from my scrap drawers, the brads and tiny buttons are from the Papermania Heather capsule collection and the silver paper is embossed using a BS texture plate. TFL and hope to get some crafting done over the next 3 days as no work! Yipeeeeeee!

Ok this card meets with 4 challenges which are the sketch at Friday Sketchers, the theme of Green & Cream at Stamp Something, Lace at My Time To Craft and Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge of Anything Goes. I have used a Dressy Miss Anya coloured with copics and a touch of sakura stardust, the flowers, brads and lace are all from my stash and the gorgeous papers are from the latest freebie digi kit at Staceys Scraps which is called 'I'm Not Irish But Kiss Me Anyway. Have also used x-cut corner punch and a nestability. TFL

Friday Sketchers # 92 & SCSC #73 Shades fo Grey

Another combined challenges card this time I have used the sketch from Friday Sketchers and the theme of shades of grey from Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge. My image is Madison in China from the Madison & Holly World Tour collection available at Charmed Cards & Crafts which I have coloured with copics and sakura stardust & glaze, the papers are from the Joanna Sheen Oriental Dreams cd, the silver rikrak and fan are from my stash. I did actually finish this last night but was too tired to upload so am doing it now before I set to in the craft room again today. HOpefully be back tonight with some more cards. TFL

I combined 2 challenges for this card, the recipe challenge over at Stamp Something which was : Designer paper, button(s) and ribbon, my paper is Joanna Sheen as is the silhoutte image which are both from the dancing with shadows cd all the other bits are from my stash and I followed the sketch from Friday Sketchers.

Friday Sketchers #90

Well I managed to squeeze in another card tonight, this time for the sketch over at Friday Sketchers. I have used a pre-coloured image from the Holly & Madison World Tour Collection available from Charmed Cards & Crafts, this has to be one of my all time favourite images. The papers are a freebie digi kit by Sweet Blossom Designs that I picked up a while ago and the colours work perfectly with this image. The stetson and boots I believe are a sizzix die that a friend cut for me about 3 years ago and then I added the peeloff sentiment. TFL

Friday Sketchers # 89

Great sketch this week over at Friday Sketchers and I have made a hybrid card. The papers and elements are all from a digi kit by Stacey Towers of Staceys Scraps (in my blog list) the kit is called Rock Star and I love the colours. I have used an image called Ava by SJ Musings that I picked up at her Valentine Blog Party, then I paper pieced her dress. The background paper, ribbons and star are all done together as one in PSE5 then the rest were added after printing, the word art is part of the kit too. I also added some purple to her hair instead of it being black. TFL

A card for 2 challenges and some blog candy & some VERY HAPPY mail!

Ok first the card - well its is for an entry to win some blog candy from the very talented and wonderful Sammi of Stuff by Sammi and she has some candy to give away and has given us some digi images that she has drawn to make a project with. I just adore this cupcake and I have managed to fit it with 2 other challenges as well. Over at Stamp Something the challenge is Delightfully Delicious Somethings and I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers. The image is coloured with copics then I added some sakura glaze to the choccy hearts and some glamour dust to the icing, papers are some bits I had left over from a magazine freebie to which I added some silver mirricard and some paper sentiment lace and some gems. Firstly the wonderful Sammi who has been a great blog buddy for almost 2 years sent me a fantastic bundle of images for my birthday, so I'll have no exuse not to be entering challenges at Anya Ink and Club Anya & friends! The challenge over at Cute Card Thursday is Fairies so I thought I'd use this image of Dottie which was a freebie for taking part in a challenge at Dotties World quite some time ago, I coloured her with copics and added a few touches of sakura stardust I used MME Bloom & Grow papers and followed the sketch from Friday Sketchers. Friday Sketchers #85 & Stamp Something - Blue & White

I have combined the sketch from Friday Sketchers this week with the Blue & White challenge over at Stamp Something, I've also addeda touch of orange! Image is a magnolia one coloured with copics and sakura stardust, pp is from papermania, ribbons are freebies blooms and gem in my stash and the embossed mat is a piece of coredinations whitewash cs which I embossed and then sanded gently to let a hint of the orange peep thru. TFL

Its a great sketch this week over at Friday Sketchers. I have used MME Bloom & Grow papers, teh ribbon is from the range the flower and brad are from my stash and the image is Sugar Nellie - Daisy (I love this image) coloured with copics and a few sakura stardust and metallics too. TFL

Loved this sketch over at Friday Sketchers, I have used the pre coloured 'Waiting for Santa' image from the Charmed Christmas collection of digi stamps available at Charmed Cards & Crafts, cs is coredinations and pp are MME, circles cut and embossed with nesties and the little flowers are papermania. SFOS - babys first christmas/preschooler & Friday Sketchers #79

wow my 3rd card today and this time I have combined the challenge from Spoon Full of Sugar which was to make something for a babys first christmas or preschooler with the sketch over at Friday Sketchers. My image is another fab Friday Freebie from Tales from Pollycraft, he is such a cutie, coloured with copics and sakura glitter, glaze and metallics, papers are papermania from last year, ribbon, gems, thread and bells from my stash. CCT - glitter Me Silly & Friday Sketchers #78

I have combined the Glitter Me Silly challenge from CCT with the sketch from Friday Sketchers this week. The image is one I won in some blog candy and is coloured with copics and sakura glitter for the star, wings and a bit in his hair too, the papers are all from My Minds Eye Wonderful Winter glittered papers, the peeloff bells have been coloured with copics and sakura glitter pens. The image one mat have both been raised with foam pads. It is quite glittery irl but the photo doesnt really show it up sorry. TFL
